Despite an injury mid-season that cut things short, "Bam" remains in the top spot of the Class of 2026 rankings. When fully healthy, the point guard is a threat to post a triple double every time he steps on the floor and his all-around skills combined with strength and athleticism make him arguably the top college prospect of all the rising seniors in the state.

The point guard known as "Fuzzy" transitioned over to Roosevelt as a junior, not only fitting into a team full of returnees that made the state championship the year before but emerging as one of the leaders of the squad. He led the Roughriders in scoring (15.9 ppg), getting things done at all three levels in an efficient manner. He shared ball-handling duties with senior Owen Nathan (3.8 apg) and should be handed the ball full-time for his senior campaign.

The rise of Lake continues as the junior not only fully embraced increased responsibilities in 2024-25 but shined. He led the Timberwolves in scoring (21.1 ppg) and assists (4.5 apg) and was one of the state's best in not only getting to the free throw line (170 attempts) but converting at a high percentage (.853 ft%). Lake continues to get bigger and stronger and already named a Second Team 6A All-State honoree and holding a D-I scholarship offer, the best is still yet to come as he should have another big summer.

The main change in the Top 5 in this latest Class of 2026 update is the slight move up for Lawson from #5 to #4, which is based on the incredible junior campaign the point guard had. One of the few players in the state to lead his team in scoring (19.4 ppg), rebounding (5.4 rpg), assists (4.3 apg), and steals (2.7 spg), Lawson led the Cougars to a Cinderella run into the 5A state tournament. He's gotten bigger and stronger to go along with his already existing skill set and after a big summer, could have the Cougars as one of the pre-season favorites in 5A in 2025-26.

Bridges remains in the top five after another good year at Forest Grove - one where his overall scoring may have taken a slight dip (17.3 ppg) but it was in the name of team success as the Vikings were able make it to the post-season for the first time under head coach Marc Roche. Bridges remains one of the top three-level scoring guards in 6A and should have a big summer developing more of his point guard skills.
