Max was making plays all over the floor in a Friday night win over a really good Powerhouse team. The sophomore guard and his [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] squad are playing up a level, but looked the part. Beeninga was disrupting the offense, forcing turnovers which led to transition opportunities. In transition, he was capable of finishing with either hand at full speed. He was also a major threat from the perimeter, pulling up off the dribble on a couple of three-point makes. [player_tooltip player_id='2433532' first='Max' last='Beeninga'] has had a great start to his 16U season this spring.

Trey is coming off of a breakout junior season at Apple Valley and it looks like that will carry right into this spring and summer. I was really impressed with the 6'2” guard's well-rounded game, doing a little bit of everything when he was on the floor. He needed to be accounted for at all times from the perimeter, cashing in off the dribble or off the catch. Parker was also jumping passing lanes for steals, where he could easily convert on the other end. He was a key piece in Real Phenom's win over [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'].

Xavier is such a gifted scorer, as he was hitting on some super difficult shots off the dribble on Friday night. The 6'2” guard was at his best when getting to pull-up jumpers, being able to rise up and shoot over opposing guards. He is a threat from all three levels, as he is a creative attacker around the rim as well. Xavier is one of the top scorers in Minnesota and his skills are going to be on full display all spring and summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'].

Tyrel was really fun to watch on Friday night, almost willing his team to a win. The 6'1” guard is an exceptional athlete with the combination of his jumping abilities and quick first step. He was blowing right by defenders to get inside, where he could either convert on a tough finish or find an open teammate for a better look. He has all of the tools to be a lockdown defender on the perimeter as well, being able to keep up with any opposing guard. Pride also connected on a pair of jumpers from deep, capping off an impressive night.

Joel was playing hard on Friday night, giving maximum effort on both ends of the floor. He is a pest defensively, possessing quick lateral movement and elite on-ball instincts, coming away with steals. I have always been impressed with his ability to attack the basket and finish through traffic, as he can will himself to the rim and convert on some really difficult layups. Saah is also a great distributor of the ball, being able to make kick out passes for easy looks on the perimeter.

Mu brings so much reliability to the table as a team's point guard. He is a dependable ball handler, as he is unselfish while never turning the ball over. His scoring is also very efficient, always seeming to find good looks when creating. He knocked down several shots from the perimeter, never looking rushed. He worked his way to the basket as well, being able to finish through larger defenders. The junior guard scored a game-high 21 points in the opening night win over [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'].

Even while playing up a grade, Ray was too much to handle in the paint with his physicality. He is such a gifted rebounder, as he was coming down with contested boards all game. He used his strong 6'8” frame to finish inside and go to work with his back to the basket. Brau is also a great screener, freeing up teammates for open lanes to the rim. The sophomore forward continues to improve and is in for a strong 16U season with [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'].
