The style of play at the Donofrio Classic puts a heavy emphasis on individual scoring and SportsCenter worthy dunks. So, it is refreshing to watch a player who is willing to distribute the ball to open teammates. Booth repeatedly got into the lane on dribble drives and then slipped a pass to the dunker spot or kicked out to open shooters. He also pushed the rock in transition and then delivered well timed passes to wings running the floor. Booth's live dribble passing was especially impressive. When Booth (13 points) looked too score, he did so by converting on lay-ins among the trees and hitting pull-up jumpers.

On Wednesday night, Feamster splashed 6 threes on his way to 34 points and not one of his 3PAs was uncontested. Feamster drained several difficult pull up threes as well as one or two step back treys. When the defense managed to chase him off the arc, Feamster got into his mid-range spots for buckets. Plus, Feamster displayed a more physical style of point guard play then we have seen from him in the past. On several possessions Feamster bullied and bumped his defender until he found a clean look. Feamster also did a tremendous job of scoring in the open court.

During his monster first season playing in Pennsylvania, Miller averaged 19 ppg. posted a handful of 30-pieces and was named as a 1st Team All-Friends School League selection. His stellar play continued this week in his opening run at the Donofrio Classic as Miller poured in 37 points. This fast and shifty scoring point guard drained 5 threes and produced points off the dribble in the half-court. Plus, Miller was unstoppable in the open court. He capped one fast break with an impressive dunk. Miller's change of direction dribble moves are filthy. His ability to stop on a dime and then score off two feet is remarkable too.

Reed is well known as an elusive off the bounce scoring point guard. Still, you do not appreciate what he is truly capable of doing with the rock in his hands until you watch Reed in an up-tempo game like those at the Donofrio Classic. Wednesday night, Reed (15 pts.) thrived in that fast-paced environment as he continually beat his man off the dribble for pull-up jumpers, runners, and lay-ins. He also distributed off the dribble to open teammates. Reed's use of jump stops is impressive, and his overall footwork is extremely polished for a 2027.
