Booth is a crafty scoring minded guard who uses his close proximity to the ground to slither his way inside of the paint and get to the bucket. Like how he keeps the ball on a string. He has a slew of different finishes that he can use and has no issues changing gears and will exploit defenses when he catches them sleeping. Booth also showed that he can be a capable shooter from deep.

His Rome Runs team left with a respectable loss but Booth was a clear standout, doing all he could on both ends of the floor while delivering a game-high 24 points. The junior guard was able to use his quickness and a shifty handle to consistently work his way into the paint off the bounce, finishing among the trees with impressive toughness and dexterity. He was a pest on the defensive end to help create transition opportunities and showed a capable jumper out to the perimeter while knocking down a trio of 3s. Booth project to be one of the top guards in District 1 next season and will look to continue playing his way toward scholarship-level radars over the next year.

The style of play at the Donofrio Classic puts a heavy emphasis on individual scoring and SportsCenter worthy dunks. So, it is refreshing to watch a player who is willing to distribute the ball to open teammates. Booth repeatedly got into the lane on dribble drives and then slipped a pass to the dunker spot or kicked out to open shooters. He also pushed the rock in transition and then delivered well timed passes to wings running the floor. Booth’s live dribble passing was especially impressive. When Booth (13 points) looked too score, he did so by converting on lay-ins among the trees and hitting pull-up jumpers.

September has been a monster month for Booth. Two weeks ago, he was named as a top performer at the Never Forget Classic and this past weekend he torched opponents the Big 64 event. Booth notched a 20-spot against a talented Cumberland Valley team thanks to his speed and elusive handles which got him to the rim at will. He frequently went coast-to-coast for fast break buckets. In the half-court, Booth scored off the dribble through contact and with creative finishes that enable him to avoid being fouled. His Euro-step game was solid and his ability to play off two feet was noteworthy. College coaches will also love the court vision and passing skills Booth displayed at the Big 64.

Booth posted a monster summer which increased his recruiting stock significantly. So, it should be a surprise that this ridiculously fast dribble wizard impressed again on Saturday. Booth’s ability to weave through an entire team as he goes coast to coast for a lay-in is unique. In the half-court, his quick first step and change of direction moves got Booth into the paint for scores and kick outs. Booth exceled in pick-n-roll action too. When a defender elected to sagged off Booth, he dialed up threes from all over the court.
