The best game I saw all weekend was between [program_tooltip program_id='2391400' first='Team' last='Herro'] and Phenom United 16 U with a ton of potential high major targets on the floor. Kohnen is one of those highly regarded prospects from that game with early offers to Marquette and Iowa State. A wing who plays on balance, can post up smaller defenders and see over them and plays within himself, Kohnen did a nice job of creating efficient looks either for himself or teammates. Almost a Swiss army knife offensively with the ability to do so many different things on that end of the court, I enjoyed watching [program_tooltip program_id='2391400' first='Team' last='Herro'] as a group and was impressed how Kohnen fit in on such a talented squad.

A super athlete from the wing forward position, Okojie is standing out for WV Hustle, a MHC team. Okojie covers a ton of ground on both ends of the court with long strides and length that allows him to protect the rim, jump passing lanes and extend for finishes around the rim. Extremely talented and fluid as an athlete, Okojie has had some eye-popping highlights early this grassroots season. I'll be curious to see where Okojie ends up as he has a ton of potential on both ends of the court.

One of the top lead guards in the Midwest, Medlock Jr was killing it in a rivalry game between Phenom United and All Ohio Red. Medlock Jr plays with excellent pace off the dribble and does a great job of attacking off the bounce under control. Despite his incredible finishing ability and tough moves to get to the paint, I never think Medlock Jr is rushing a decision or dribbling into traffic. On a court where a bunch of players were inefficient and selfish, Medlock Jr did a nice job of letting the game come to him and taking advantage when he found openings to attack.

One of the more athletic dual sport athletes in the greater Detroit area for the class of 2026, Wilson showed off his athleticism in a back-and-forth contest with the Ohio Buckets on Saturday evening. Wilson has a quick first step and was getting by his primary defender with ease before either scoring at the rim or kicking out to a shooter. A high-flying guard on both ends of the court, Wilson rose up for a couple blocks and can finish through traffic in the paint. Look for Wilson to gain interest from college programs for both football and basketball over the next few months as he prepares for his senior season in both sports.

One of the last games I watched all weekend was Bates Fundamentals Vs All Ohio Red 15 U and Johnson came out the gates firing. The 6'2 wing guard plays with a unique pace off the dribble and could bend through traffic to finish layups and floaters at the rim. A silky-smooth guard attacking closeouts, Johnson was productive using his creativity and flair off the bounce to get past his man. One of the more productive guards in Indiana as a freshman, Johnson impressed on the grassroots circuit and is showing why he's ranked inside the top 20 in Prep Hoops Indiana's 2028 rankings.
