Wilson is a dynamic guard that can create his own space off the bounce and can seemingly always find a good look at the rim. All that said, he’s very patient and intelligent with his shot.

I have no idea what Wilson’s numbers look like from last night, but I don’t need to. He’s slick with the ball and seems to pick and prod and look for his chances. This really keeps the defense at bay because the help needs to be consistently and constantly ready. If they aren’t, he can and did make them pay.

One of the more athletic dual sport athletes in the greater Detroit area for the class of 2026, Wilson showed off his athleticism in a back-and-forth contest with the Ohio Buckets on Saturday evening. Wilson has a quick first step and was getting by his primary defender with ease before either scoring at the rim or kicking out to a shooter. A high-flying guard on both ends of the court, Wilson rose up for a couple blocks and can finish through traffic in the paint. Look for Wilson to gain interest from college programs for both football and basketball over the next few months as he prepares for his senior season in both sports.

Wilson and L’Anse Creuse North will square off with Warren Cousino with an early 4PM tip time. Be ready to watch this one as Wilson has been known to put on a show. He’s a high rising athlete that can finish over top of the rim. Wilson has made a ton of plays off the bounce so far this season and has shown the ability to attack his defender with both hands. He’s been great in the open floor both in the lead with the ball as a passer and filling a wing and finishing.

When Wilson gets the ball in his hands, it can be a scary proposition for opponents and defenders. He finds even the smallest of lanes to the rim and gets downhill with tremendous body control. Wilson can side step a help defender and get bucket finishing at the rim.

A gritty guard who brings toughness and defense, Wilson had one of his best offensive games against Team Takeover on Monday. With a couple and-1 finishes in transition, Wilson used the euro-step to get around the defense when they tried taking charges on him. A capable shooter from the outside, Wilson has hit a jumper or two in pretty much every game this weekend. Defensively is where he really shines with his toughness, quickness and ball pressure. Not surprising that Wilson is a defensive hound with his talent on a gridiron as a dual sport athlete.
