Prep Hoops The Stage: Kyler’s Standouts – Part 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The grassroots season is officially underway and we hit the ground running on the Prep Hoops Circuit with “The Stage” at The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon. After three days in the gym, the Prep Hoops team got to see multiple prospects from many different states all in one roof. Through the weekend, I myself got to see multiple teams and was able to see many standouts. While is a little undersized at the post spot M14 played him at, Earl was extremely aggressive going at the defense scoring around the rim and drawing a bunch of contact. I really liked how well he worked off the ball with his hands always ready to catch and shoot. He is a real vertical wing that has a strong frame. When it comes to pure playmakers, I thought he was one of the better ones I saw on the weekend. His court vision on the on-ball play was pretty spot on with his ability to facilitate and score in the lane. Horvath recently reclassified to the 2026 class and was running with [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 2026 over the weekend. Just like we have seen from him before, he did a great job of scoring the ball at a high level while also being the guy to start the offense. While he is not the biggest post player, he is certainly one of the strongest naturally and he makes things so difficult for anyone that matches up to him. Scored really well around the rim and contested a bunch shots on the defensive end, even having a couple of blocks in the game I saw as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
