Minnesota Heat Jamboree: Standout 15U Players

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] is one of the longest standing AAU programs in the state, and always filled with solid talent. Every year the Heat host their annual Jamboree for their high school level teams right before tournaments kick off. His quick release from 3, and shot fake into a drive to the rim allowed him to score in many different ways. He not only dominated offensively, but he was a pest on defense as well. This is a kid that got varsity minutes this season for a very talented Cannon Falls team. In the first scrimmage he came down the court and hit three 3's in 3 possessions in a row. This is a physical shooting guard that can really light it up from beyond the arc. Defensively, Noah was able to outmuscle his opponents on the perimeter which caused problems for the ball handlers. He has a nice release and a quick first step. He hit a few 3's and had some nice drives to the basket, and was able to finish some tough buckets over bigger defenders. This kid did just about everything on the floor that gave boosts of energy to his squad. His strong suits were rebounding and defense. His aggressive offensive approach allowed him to get into the paint easily. I'd like to see his outside game develop this summer. He was a physical presence inside for his Heat Gunderman squad. Bryant was able to get deep post touches and out physical his opponents. Defensively very strong and a good rebounder. He was able to get to any spot he wanted offensively. He's also a guard not afraid to step into the post and bully his way to the basket. Braxdyn knocked down some nice shots and found his teammates on some drive and kick outs. Defensively he's quick on his feet and offensive players had a hard time trying to drive past him at the jamboree. Good shooter that knocked down a couple 3's, and also was able to drive into the paint a couple times and get some shots off. I'd like to see more of his defense this summer when we get into tournament play. He has outstanding length which was such a problem for his opponents around the rim. He had a handful of blocks and rebounds which lead to his teammates getting out in transition. Offensively, Brady has a nice 3 point shot. He was pretty crafty around the rim on Wednesday. Very high IQ player. I would like to see him get stronger this summer as I expect him to be a pretty big contributor for Centennials Varsity team next season. He altered so many shots at the rim. Still pretty raw but he has the potential to blossom into a special post player. Offensively he created a lot of 2nd chance opportunities for his squad.
