Isaan Kitila - The 2026 forward from St. Anthony continues to thrive in his senior year with 30 points Monday night in their one point win over Bloomington Kennedy. The six-foot-six-inch forward has good length, has added good strength to his build, and runs the floor well. In the game versus Kennedy the length was on full display particularly on defense blocking at least 3 shots.

LaDainian Bowman - Bowman is a six-foot-one-inch 2026 guard from Duluth East that had 22 points for Duluth East versus Anoka Friday. Bowman has shown ability to take and make 3-pointers for the Greyhounds with a five 3-pointer made performance recently as well as this 22 point game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1819128' first='Bryce' last='Gaustad'] - The six-foot-eight-inch 2027 Anoka front-court player Gaustad has been putting up some big double doubles this season so far and Monday was no different. Gaustad had 21 points and 16 rebounds in the Tornadoes win. The Anoka big man in the middle of the floor is averaging 18 points and 12 rebounds per game. 14 games have been double doubles, 8 games with at least 13 boards, and 9 games with at least 20 points. Gaustad had 5 blocks versus Armstrong recently as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2486564' first='Kolden' last='Johnson'] - The 2029 six-foot-five-inch freshman forward is making a strong case for Freshman of the Year in Minnesota High School basketball. Monday night Johnson scored 19 points and had 7 assists with 2 blocks versus Duluth East. Johnson continues to show ability to stretch the floor making two 3-pointers versus Duluth East. He now has scored in double digits 16 times this season averaging 14.8 points per game, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.3 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2382254' first='Hudson' last='Strand'] - 31 points versus Maranatha Monday night. Made five 3-pointers and shot 11 of 16 from the floor. The six-foot-two-inch senior guard is averaging 18.7 points per game for Legacy Christian shooting 38.8% from beyond the 3-point arc this season. Strand has six games of 20 or more points and the 31-point game versus Maranatha being his highest this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2384018' first='Cooper' last='Routh'] - The six-foot-two-inch 2028 guard continues to show ability to lead Owantonna in scoring with 21 points versus Winona Monday night. The sophomore guard does well when he gets downhill and generally is difficult to slow down.

[player_tooltip player_id='2397796' first='Judah' last='Mitchell'] - The 2028 Bloomington Kennedy sophomore guard scored 39 points for Kennedy versus St. Anthony in a tough 1-point loss. Mitchell got to the free throw line 16 times in the game making all of his free throws. While scoring 39 shooting 7 of 15 from the floor including 3 of 8 from beyond the arc, Mitchell handed out 5 assists for Kennedy.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126149' first='Cayden' last='Lea'] - Lea is a six-foot-one-inch 2027 guard from Rushford-Peterson that scored 26 points for Rushford-Peterson in a win over Caledonia Monday night. Lea knocked down five 3-pointers for RP in the win. Lea hit 3-pointers off the dribble all night including 3 in pull-up transition fashion.

https://twitter.com/WKBTJacob/status/2018534363689054326

Sartell Improves to 11-5

After starting the season 1-3 the Sartell Sabres have won 10 of their last 12 games, and if you saw the end of the Fergus Falls game January 30th, they should be 11 for their last 12 after beating Moorhead Monday night 76-69.

2026 senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1560795' first='Maddox' last='Lewis'] scored 23 points to lead them in scoring as Lewis has done a whole bunch of times this season. The six-foot-four-inch Lewis is averaging around 24 points per game and shooting a high percentage from beyond the 3-point line.

A fellow Lewis, Karson Lewis, a six-foot-one-inch 2027 guard scored 18 points versus Moorhead on six 3-pointers. Lewis did well to position and re-position himself for good looks from the perimeter and showed very good mechanics and shooting motion on all six triples. The previous game Lewis hit five 3-pointers versus Fergus Falls and hit seven 3-pointers versus Bemidji, and multiple 3-pointers in six other games.

[player_tooltip player_id='2910350' first='Isaac' last='Bergstrom'] - The six-foot-seven-inch 2026 forward has been a great glue player for the Sabres making plays on the perimeter offensively and defensively. Bergstrom is a solid athlete who runs the floor well, rebounds, will block a shot or two, can get deflections, and step out on the perimeter and make shots as well.

Sartell will get a solid boost with 2026 senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2119640' first='Bennett' last='Bommersbach'] returning from a summer injury as well.
