Heiser Skills Academy 16U Preview

Prep Hoops Dakotas will be able to see them live in action. I will be able to see them live at their first game vs Minnesota Heat on Saturday at 3:35 PM. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The [program_tooltip program_id='2444909' first='Heiser' last='Skills Academy'] 16U roster is quite appealing with upside, and I'm excited to see their prospects. I think he's set to breakout next season with Hamlin. First, he's got his business set on proving himself to college coaches this offseason with Heiser. Solid positional length at 6'3”, and I think he'll play with some offensive aggression this weekend and be the team's top scorer. Gets going and is effective in transition. Three-point threat as well. So he's clearly a key piece for Watertown's varsity the next couple of years. He entered the game and instantly brought 6'5” length and an endless motor and effort. He runs the floor extremely well, better than most guards. He's a unique prospect, as a powerful and athletic wing/4-man. Good athlete and powerful jumper. Hasn't put his full package altogether but if he does he could become a college prospect. I will be updating 2027 rankings after this weekend, and I believe Mack could rise into the top 35 prospects. He was a starting guard that I thought really came on during the state tournament. He's got the length and size already at 6'3” and I think his assertiveness is coming along. Not an explosive athlete but he can play and be a playmaker and shotmaker. A three-level scorer that scored 11 points per game. Can get to the middle of the paint and stop and score with a floater. A tough and physical guard that can defend and locks-in on that end. Came off the bench on one of the top Class A teams in the state, with top end talent at his position. He doesn't have elite size, but he's an offensive finisher and has elite athleticism and verticality for his age. Attacks and finishes through contact at the hoop. A sudden athlete that shows elite burst in spurts. One of the top defensive players in the 2028 class as well.
