Bevers is majorly on the rise as a prospect and a point guard that can lead a team and be a playmaking player. Chris brings a load of toughness on both ends. In the past, I wasn’t sure if he could translate to a lead guard at the next level, but his recent play has given me confidence to place him at the point guard position.

Bevers makes a really good jump up the board from being in the mid-30 area to #16. He was very impactful at Prep Hoops Twin Cities Takedown. He showed more explosion than I thought he had in him. His defense I noticed on film, but he can really hound the ball-handler and it’s noticeable up live. He defends with toughness and movement.

Bevers rose his stock over the weekend and looked much more athletic than I had him tabbed for. He’s quicker and more explosive than I thought. He’s a two-way guard that is an intense defender on the ball, beating his matchup to their spot and giving them no space to operate. Him skying up for defensive rebounds and turning the ball up in transition was noticeable.
