Trenton Sitzer Trenton Sitzer 6'2" | PG/SG Midway-Minto | 2027 State ND is the lone North Dakota player on the Heiser squad, and it will be interesting to see what role he carves out this weekend. Sitzer is coming off an excellent high school season where he averaged 17.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 40% from 3point range, helping lead the Mustangs to the State Tournament. I really like his length, finishing ability, and perimeter shooting. Sitzer has the tools to be one of the top guards in Class B next winter, and this weekend at the Pentagon will be another great opportunity to see him compete against strong talent in Sioux Falls.

Trenton put up 21 points vs Northern Cass, not just a three point shooter (something he does very well) but also does a ncie job of attacking the basket on hard closeouts and being able to finish through contact with either hand. His middy pull-up game was working and showed nice footwork off a two foot jump stop in the paint for an up and under basket. High IQ player with great off ball anticipation on the defensive end of the floor. He knows hes gonna be guarded tightly on the perimeter and is smart enough to not force shots and also stay aggressive going to the basket. He had a couple nice passes to open teammates for assists when the defense rotated to stop his drives.

-Attacks the rim hard off his drives

-Nice footwork curling a screen to get to the rim for two

-Had couple nice steals reading the opponents passes off there press for easy layups

-Plays hard defense/can guard pretty much anyone other then the opponents 5 man

-Has good strength and size for his position

-Had couple nice crossovers to get into the lane for nice drive n kick or dump offs to there bigs

-Kid gets better each time I watch him

-Deep three point range/hit 6 of them tonight and 4 had to have been from 24ft

-Strong driver to basket finishes tough layups in traffic

-Good ballhandler/nice low crossover to get by defender

-Guards tough

-Will rebound/doesn’t mind playing with the bigs guys on the boards

-Had excellent court vision again tonight finding open shooters off his drive n kick game

-Playing impressively this season for the 7-1 Mustangs, long guard for Class B

-Sitzer & the Robinsons make for a scary three-headed monster, defends hard

-Visually pleasing jump shot with long-range talent, aggressive off the dribble
