Comments: I have always been a fan of Mack’s effort, energy, and versatility. Jack takes what the defense gives him, uses it to his advantage, and scores from all levels. He hoops with heart and passion. Look for him to clean up the glass. Will Mack and Heiser show that the SD ballers are legit? I am excited to see how the game vs. SW MN Stars go, there will be multiple great matchups to watch in that one.

Jack shot the ball better then I anticipated from deep (pleasant surprise) and shows he works hard on his all-round game. One of the strongest player’s at camp and it showed at times on both ends of the floor. Offensively when he wanted to score in the post it didn’t matter who was guarding him he scored. Defensively i didn’t see the same player score on him twice in a row (i really like that) as he takes pride on that end. Loved how hes able to guard the smaller guards at times on switches because of his athleticism and length. He was a rebounding demon on both ends for all of camp, powerful hands.

Jack is a physical slasher for Heiser Skills Academy . At about 6’5-6’6 he has broad shoulders with the potential to continue adding to his already strong frame. At the 17u level he was just about unstoppable when he got anywhere near the rim, able to power his way through contact to finish at a high rate. Jack could take some hard bumps on his way to the room while still keeping his balance to score. That strength translates to the defensive end where he can hold his own with bigger forwards on the block while also pulling in rebounds in bulk.

I haven’t had the chance to see Mr. Mack hoop live since last summer, so I’m excited to see how his game has progressed and to gauge the athletic gains he’s made since then. There’s a lot to like about Mack’s overall game and versatility. He runs and jumps well, rebounds aggressively, and consistently finds ways to produce. Mack helped lead the Arrows to the State Tournament during a successful high school season and showed value on both ends of the floor. He’s a solid defender with an all-around skill set, and his versatility makes him an intriguing player to watch this weekend.
