Annually the Chi-Town Tip Off is a must attend event for competition and coverage for Midwest teams. This year was no different. We continue our examination of the prospects here looking beyond the Land of Lincoln in Chi-Town Tip Off: Top Out of State Prospects!

Brandon Harper ([program_tooltip program_id='2076501' first='Chapman' last='Basketball Academy'] South 17U)

Harper is a strong bodied two guard that was an absolute force in transition in their game against [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] National. He scored over and over again in the open floor by out hustling his opponents and finished through contact at the rim.

J'Cobi Mathis (Wisconsin Playground UAA 15U)

High scoring guard from Wisconsin that went off for 29 points against the [program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] in their first game of the event. He was absolutely electric scoring from all over the floor. Poured in a number of threes and used his speed to get to the rim absolutely anytime he wanted. Crafty layup maker that shielded the ball from defenders.

Mikey Woods ([program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 16U)

Woods had a strong game against [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] as the former Illinois prospect who now plays in Indiana was pouring in threes, getting steals taking them the other way for buckets, and was scrappy on both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140359' first='Elijah' last='King'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 16U)

King is a guard that has a good built and stuffs the stat sheet. Strong frame and is an excellent slasher. Finished exceptionally well through contact. Rebounds very well, connective passer, and was a solid shooter from three. Look for him to continue to emerge in Indiana.

[player_tooltip player_id='2411140' first='Kevin' last='Pittman'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 17U)

Pittman is a 6'9” five man that has broad shoulders and excellent strength. He was a force on the glass on both ends. Offensively he had several put backs in the game we saw. Also a nice spin move. Solid rim protector out of this Wisconsin post.

[player_tooltip player_id='2631621' first='Amaris' last='Hunt'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2245199' first='Pride' last='Roc'] Bynum 17U)

Hunt is a Wisconsin product that had a good showing at Chi-Town Tip Off. He is a slender guard that is slippery through traffic and makes acrobatic layups. Plus shooter from three as well making multiple in both games we saw.

[player_tooltip player_id='2224501' first='Ameer' last='Anderson'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2245199' first='Pride' last='Roc'] Bynum 17U)

Anderson is a rangy wing that has a quick second jump getting on the offensive glass. He can take it off the bounce from the mid-post along with knock in a 15 foot jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='1561882' first='Micah' last='Kubsch'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2828974' first='Manitowoc' last='United'] Gold 17U)

Kubsch is a combo guard that can shoot it from distance making them from a variety of spots on the floor. Fun player to watch!

[player_tooltip player_id='1561897' first='Ben' last='Prochnow'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2828974' first='Manitowoc' last='United'] Gold 17U)

This shooting guard consistently got to the rim for finishes on straight line takes, in transition, and had some nice euro steps. Crisp jumper from mid-range.

Precious Sam ([program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 16U)

Sam is a 6'10” center originally from Louisville that now plays at AZ Compass in Arizona. Just a massive human on the interior. He moves well for his size. Right handed hook shot, put backs on the offensive boards, and threw down some massive slams out of the dunker spot. D1s should definitely be on him already.
