Sunday in Romeoville we were able to get the crossover matchups between the pool teams. For the most part, these games were more competitive especially for the top teams. As I did the first two days I was able to catch quite a few games so here are the standouts from the final games at Chi-Town Tip-Off.

[player_tooltip player_id='2217941' first='Adebowale' last='Sanya'] Hoopademix 2025 Perspectives/ ITT.

Sanya is an unsigned senior guard who is dynamic with the rock in his hands. His crossover is sharp and he gets in the lane quick to score baskets. In the early morning game he was in attack mode and led his team in scoring with 14 points in a game they lost by just 2 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2255121' first='David' last='Showman'] M14Hoops 2027

Showman was lighting the nets up Sunday with his 6 three-pointers against a very good [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] squad. David is a catch-and-shoot specialist who's been racking up 3-pointers made all weekend. At 6'2 he has the right size and speed to play at a small school. He finished with 22 points in the loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='2442189' first='Ian' last='Smucker'] [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] 2027

Smucker did his best to match Showman shooting performance with four triples of his own. Ian scored off his spacing away from the ball getting to open pockets on the court to knock down shots. Off the catch he made a tough mid-range shots and was able to score off straight-lined drives. He finished with 18 points.

Elijah King [program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 2027

One of the surprises for this Fire squad. A legit 6'3 wing player who has a combination of skills and athleticism. He competed well on both sides of the ball. Showing his worth on the glass with his rebounding and with intense defensive pressure. As a scorer he had a pair of dunks and made two threes in the game. He led the team in scoring with 20 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2531995' first='Eze' last='Nwagwu'] [program_tooltip program_id='2452458' first='Ayo' last='Dos Elite'] 2028

Eze is a quick guard who can get to the basket with his dribble. He shot the ball well against the Fire but made the biggest plays when things broke down for his team. In an intense contest we saw Nwagwu raise his level of play and finish the game with 12 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2542413' first='Alvin' last='Robinson'] Jr. [program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 2028

Had a strong game against [program_tooltip program_id='2452458' first='Ayo' last='Dos Elite']. Played well off the ball, picked his spots to score, and didn't seem to force the effort much. Made a couple of easy layups at the basket and even hit a big three to push his team's lead to double digits. He scored 12 points in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2821689' first='Kendall' last='Bosby'] [program_tooltip program_id='2075515' first='Hoops' last='4 Health'] 2026

Bosby has been very good this whole weekend. At 6'4 he's a three-level scorer that gets his fair share of shots from behind the arc. Once teams force him off the line he's good enough to go get a bucket at the basket. Kendall made 4 threes in the game I watched. Hitting two from the corner and the other from both wings. He's a player who should continue to break out this spring.
