What prospects put their name on the map at Prep Hoops Windy City War in Chicago? The second Chicago stop of the PHC had several players emerge including here in 2027 New Names Emerge at Windy City War!

Cooper Kopp ([program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] EYCL)

Kopp was one of the breakout players for the [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] EYCL squad. Rockford Auburn 6'3” shooting guard brought toughness on both sides of the ball. Good offensive rebounder, got loose in transition, and stood out as a perimeter defender.

Ty'Ron Holcomb ([program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] EYCL)

Holcomb is a 6'4” forward out of Rich Township who played with a high-motor. Quick to the offensive glass for second chance points, finished out of the dunker spot, and overall played with a super high motor. Glue guy that competed at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125586' first='Ben' last='Gillmar'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075314' first='Big' last='3 Basketball'])

Wheaton North 6'5” four man is a skilled post who is crafty around the hoop, gets to the foul line, and is a solid area rebounder. There is some face up skill in there to be developed as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='3602759' first='Maurice' last='Thompson'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076264' first='Illinois' last='Central Elite'])

Zion Benton 6'2” shooting guard with broad shoulders and excellent length. Smooth ball handler that ripped one baseline for a score. Liked what he brought on the defensive end as a perimeter stopper that would turn defense into offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='3597611' first='Ben' last='Sajuan'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076264' first='Illinois' last='Central Elite'])

Warren 6'1” guard put his name on the map in the second half of their game as he poured in a flurry of buckets. Legit three level scorer that is crafty around the hoop with soft touch finishes and has range out to three. Could be a nice piece next to Davis off the bench this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2836572' first='Jackson' last='Martin'] (Hoopademix)

Loyola 6'0” shooting guard is a sound perimeter shooter who knocked in a pair of them along with sneaking in on the glass, cutting off the ball, and getting to the foul line.

Torrence Smith ([program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'])

Smith jumps out physically at 6'8” with broad shoulders and insane length. The skill is going to need some refinement, but no doubt there is talent worth looking into for a small college or JUCO especially on the defensive end.

Marcus Johnson ([program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'])

Bouncy 6'2” shooting guard from Hansberry that is explosive getting downhill with his strong frame and plus athleticism. Stood out on the defensive end with his lateral quickness along with swatting several shots emphatically!

Daniel Morakinyo ([program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'])

Sandburg guard is a strong bodied player that brings pop as a legit three level scorer. Deep pull up threes, stopped and popped in the mid-range, and got the rim/free throw line at a nice clip. Going to be a go to guy for Sandburg this season!

[player_tooltip player_id='2830674' first='Brennan' last='McNamara'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'])

The 5'9” point guard from Downers Grove South went off for 19 points in their victory as he mixed it up with several deep balls showing good mechanics on his shot. Also got to the rack for euro steps, spinning layups, and making trips to the charity stripe.

[player_tooltip player_id='2398290' first='Jack' last='Levy'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'])

Strong bodied wing that is an ideal glue guy. Does all the dirty work. Physical finisher around the hoop, snatches rebounds, connective rebounder, and is a team first guy!

Kavin Patel ([program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] Black)

Patel was the standout for [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] Black in the game we saw as the Stevenson guard poured in three after three giving his team momentum with each and everyone tht went through the net. More than just a spot up shooter he had a nice floater game off the bounce. Going to be a spark for the Patriots this upcoming season.
