Shifty point guard that can jet to another level quickly. Helps create efficient offense with the ball in his hands. Nwagwu showed craft at the rim after getting downhill to finish off the glass while also converting on breakaway opportunities. His facilitation skills were evident with well timed pitch ahead passes and drop offs underneath. Nwagwu provides floor spacing capability while knocking down shots beyond the arc as well. On the defensive side, he competes well at the point of attack and stays engaged on the ball.

Though undersized, Nwagwu was the best offensive player on the floor in Game 2 of the Expo on Court 3. He was like a Tasmanian devil wreaking havoc and spinning circles around his opponents. Time and again, Nwagwu displayed a smooth shooting stroke both as an outside threat and when driving to the hoop. He used his speed and slipperiness to weave between defenders and draw fouls.even against taller competition. On defense, he showcased crafty hands. In the future, it will behoove Nwagwu as an offensive leader to figure out when to intentionally slow the game down and not let his natural speed overtake him. But there’s no denying he’s fun to watch and has worked hard on his game.

A smaller Meanstreets guard that should grow a bit more. All he did Thursday afternoon was find the bucket. Whether it was his burst to the rim or letting it fly from deep, he was always finding the bottom of the net. Outside of that, his ball skills are excellent and is more than capable of breaking past double teams.
