Annually the Chi-Town Tip Off is a must attend event for competition and coverage for Illinois teams. This year was no different. PHI had all five of our scouts in the gyms for this event. We continue our examination of the prospects here in Chi-Town Tip Off: 2026 Illinois Top Performers!

[player_tooltip player_id='2405260' first='Daniel' last='Odhiambo'] ([player_tooltip player_id='2391665' first='Kessel' last='Heat'] 17U)

Odhiambo is a bouncy power forward from Vernon Hills that caught our attention in the second half of the season. More of the same when we saw him with Kessel on the opening night of Chi-Town Tip Off. The 6'5” four man has length and is an excellent shot blocker. Really liked his anticipation on that end of the floor covering ground and swatting shots throughout their win. High points rebounds on traffic and showed some touch from 15 feet.

Oman Khan ([player_tooltip player_id='2391665' first='Kessel' last='Heat'] 17U)

Khan emerged as a Niles North face up four man that can really shoot the basketball. Poured in a plethora of threes in the game we caught with a quick and easy release. Good frame on him and was quick to the glass as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2411580' first='Jacob' last='Marynowski'] (Illinois Hoopstars 17U)

The Glenbard East 6'3” small forward played taller than his height in a nice performance to close out night one. Finished out of the dunker spot, ran the floor hard, an was very effective getting on the offensive glass for put backs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2408504' first='Cole' last='Bero'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'] 17U)

This Hinsdale Central shooting guard has a knack for scoring. Crafty 6'2” guard that has a feel for getting in the lane on straight line takes. Passing feel for an off guard as an effective connector. Also is a sound three point shooter that knocked down several in their first game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1900158' first='Stephen' last='George'] (Chi-Town Bulldogs 17U)

George is a big bodied five man from St. Francis de Sales. He is a rugged enforcer that is at his best mauling on the glass. Moves bodies on the interior snatching rebounds, getting on the offensive glass for second chance points, and flashes some touch in the post. Solid post defender that brings a ton of physicality.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105360' first='Lincoln' last='Williams'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 17U)

Williams is the top 2026 prospect in the state. In the game we saw on Saturday he had a massive outing. Williams was playing well above the rim throwing down nasty dunks in transition including a lob off the backboard. Long and lanky small forward played with a motor and a ton of confidence. Hit a crisp pull up two and used his long arms on the defensive end. Also backed his man down to the post for a left handed hook shot. Seems to have added strength as his frame is filling out.

[player_tooltip player_id='2632005' first='Levente' last='Tallos'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] 17U)

Tallos had a big weekend. It wasn't just one game or stretch that made an impression, but the entirety of the event. The Lake Forest Academy wing has good size and strength at 6'3” with a well-rounded skill set. Good shooter off the catch, has the strength to finish through the trees in the paint, cuts off the ball, and is a good rebounder. Like him as a secondary playmaker as well with his passing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105376' first='Colin' last='Stack'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] 17U)

Stack was very good at Chi-Town Tip Off. The seven footer is one of the premier post players in the 2026 class. He plays above the rim as he threw down multiple dunks in a variety of ways. Tip dunks, lobs, and even crossed his man for a dunk. He slammed a couple down right on the head of opponents. The jumper continues to develop as he hit threes from the corners and top of the key. His shot blocking might be his best asset. He is a big time rim protector that is not afraid of going after them. He sends them right back at the opponent more times than not with his timing, size, and length. Rebounds well in his area and outlets to guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552439' first='Logan' last='Luxem'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] 17U)

Luxem lit it up to close out the night on Saturday. The two guard went off against the Bears going for 20 points. Poured in the threes and pull up twos at a high rate throughout the game. Good ball handler that can win off the bounce in one on one situations and showed his athleticism off in transition. Connective passer as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2823657' first='Kemmeon' last='Hale'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075532' first='Illinois' last='Bears'] 17U)

Huge weekend for this Murphysboro center. He is a wide bodied five that played with the most consistency we have seen in his career. Was productive in each game we saw. Finished around the hoop against legit sized centers fighting them with his physicality. Displayed more nimble footwork than we had previously seen. Even worked out of the mid-range with his shooting and handled it a little.

[player_tooltip player_id='2832909' first='Charlie' last='Wingate'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2414566' first='Mike' last='Glennon Elite'] 17U)

Wingate had a big showing in one of the last games we caught. The Mt. Carmel shooting guard has a clean and easy release on his jumper. This 6'1” wing let it fly from beyond the arc along with scoring off the bounce on straight line takes and in the open floor. Let the game come to him.
