[player_tooltip player_id='2504902' first='Jamieson' last='Young'], 6'1 Cherry Hill East

Young is the top ranked combo guard in the update as he helped the Cougars make the sectional final. The 6'1 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Young moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the halfcourt. He can also put the ball on the floor and moves his feet on the defensive end. Young is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should continue to torch the nets from distance during the AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2305481' first='Jaylen' last='Lewis'], 6'0 Don Bosco Prep

Lewis stepped up as the season went on and should carry over his confidence into the AAU season. The 6'0 guard has a good first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and can finish in a number of ways around the basket. Lewis has a nice touch in the mid-range and can shoot either off the catch or bounce. He is an underrated passer and has the ability to get deflections on the defensive end. Lewis is a skilled guard prospect who knows how to make plays with the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504904' first='Izayah' last='Cooper'], 6'0 St. Rose

Cooper is an intriguing prospect to watch in the class with his ability to play on and off the ball. The 6'0 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to get into the rim and finds his open teammates in the halfcourt. Cooper knows how to finish around the basket and rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt. He is a tough on-ball defender and pushes the pace well in transition. Cooper is a gritty guard prospect who should have the ball in his hands more over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504899' first='Chase' last='Pettiford'], 6'0 Immaculate Conception

Pettiford had his moments during his debut varsity season and is looking to build off of them this AAU season. The 6'0 guard uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and finishes well around the basket. Pettiford is more than just a slasher as he has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He is an underrated passer and uses his length to get deflections on defense. Pettiford will be looking for a new home this season with Immaculate Conception closing and should make an immediate impact in his new home with his ability to make plays with the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='2723376' first='Kenneth' last='Sharperson'], 5'9 Morristown

Sharperson made plays for Morristown down the stretch as he got more comfortable within the flow of the offense. The 5'9 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the basket and is unafraid of drawing contact. Sharperson can also score in the mid-range and knows how to move without the ball in his hands. He is a solid rebounder and uses his quick hands to get steals on the defensive end. Sharperson had nine 10-point games in 2024-25 and should eclipse that total in his sophomore season.
