In an expanded offensive role that’s given him a chance to handle the basketball more and initiate offense, Pettiford’s increased volume saw him aggressively seek out driving angles— attacking closeouts and finishing from different angles in traffic, creating drive and kick threes when driving angles got cut off and even reading the floor in transition to advance the ball up the floor.
