A returning fixture in Hudson Catholic’s backcourt group amidst plenty of roster shakeup under first year head coach Kevin Grimes, Noreaga James Noreaga James 5'8" | PG Hudson Catholic | 2027 State NJ operated as a legitimate spark plug for this group offensively, particularly in the ways he played with an aggressive attacking mindset while staying within the flow of the offense— confidently stepping into open threes, finding pockets of space for smooth mid range pull ups, and finishing through contact when getting deep into the paint.

James has the ability to breakout this season as he should have the ball in his hands more. The 5’8 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finishes nicely around the rim. James is more than just a slasher as he can also score in the mid-range and can knock down jumpers from behind the arc. He is a tough on-ball defender and can also play off the ball. James is a speedy guard prospect who should make plays with the ball in his hands this season.

Having emerged as a steady and productive guard in Hudson Catholic’s rotation of guards so far this season, Noreaga James Noreaga James 5'8" | PG Hudson Catholic | 2027 State NJ delivered a sound performance that highlighted his ability to provide effective scoring from different areas on the floor. A diverse scoring attack saw James convert on mid range area shot attempts off the bounce, capitalize on forced turnovers for easy finishing at the rim in transition, flashing a combination clean and balanced footwork and utilization of pump fakes for a clean step through in the paint, and even perimeter shot making off the bounce.
