Now that we have all had time to take a breath after a long and exciting High School Basketball Season, it's time to take a look at some notable prospects before our focus fully shifts to the Grassroots Season. Next, dive into some of the top table-setting guards - guys who take as much pride in getting their teammates involved as getting their own buckets.

[player_tooltip player_id='1709992' first='Braylen' last='Mumford'] (Lugoff-Elgin) - Leading off the 2024-25 Table Setters is Lugoff-Elgin's [player_tooltip player_id='1709992' first='Braylen' last='Mumford']. Don't let the size fool you with Braylen, he is a high-level student-athlete who averaged 8.1 Points Per Game, 5.2 Assists Per Game, and 2.9 Steals Per Game while being named to the All-Region and All-Academic teams with a 4.4 GPA. Mumford is a tenacious defender who moves his feet well and has good hands, but he makes this list because of his floor vision and effectiveness in pick-and-roll offenses.

[player_tooltip player_id='1711393' first='Quentin' last='Young'] (Bridges Prep) - Young finished second in the Palmetto State in Assists Per Game at 9.1 and was selected All-Region for the third time in his Senior Season. He is crafty with the rock, handles the ball well under pressure, and does a nice job of knowing where shooters and bigs are when he gets the ball into the paint. Quentin can also put the ball in the basket and force turnovers on the defensive end, putting up 16.1 Points Per Game and 5.1 Steals Per Game in 2024-25.

[player_tooltip player_id='2564154' first='Jace' last='Shaw'] (Mauldin) - Jace was also a candidate for Most-Improved Juniors because of his statistical leap from 3.8 Points Per Game to 6.5 Points Per Game and 1.7 Assists Per Game to 3.3 Assists Per Game. Shaw stepped into a significant role because of some of the Mavericks' departures, but he was more than capable of taking the reigns of the offense. Jace is a lefty who keeps defenders off balance because of his change of pace and ability to pull up or fit the ball through tight windows when getting downhill.

[player_tooltip player_id='1982890' first='Colt' last='Fowler'] (Byrnes) - Colt was the state leader in Assists Per Game this season, according to MaxPreps. He totaled 315 Assists in 28 Games, which comes out to an 11.3 average. Fowler did average 4.1 Turnovers Per Game, but because the Rebels play at such a fast pace, their games typically have more possessions than a normal one. Colt is one of the quickest High School prospects I have ever watched, and he also sees passing lanes that most Guards don't. He was named All-State and Region Player of the Year this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1986981' first='Dreyton' last='Jackson'] (Easley) - Rounding out this season's top Table Setters is [player_tooltip player_id='1986981' first='Dreyton' last='Jackson'] of the Easley Green Wave. Jackson is another Sophomore who finished Top 10 in Assists Per Game at 6.5. He has a deep bag that he can use with the ball in his hands, headlined by a nasty hesitation move and an effective right-to-left crossover. Dreyton sees the game develop well in transition and has good chemistry with his wings and bigs. His jump shooting also puts an added level of pressure on defensive game plans.
