had a terrific overall weekend playing with
Upward Stars Pee Dee
at the Phenom Memorial Day Classic. He is an undersized Point Guard who makes up for it with an excellent feel for the game, quickness, ball handling, and playmaking skills. Mumford turns corners quickly with the ball in his hands, making him a terrific pick-and-roll initiator. Braylen also displayed a deep range from the perimeter when knocking down threes. On the defensive end, he has great hands and likes to jump passing lanes.

Mumford has played many minutes at the varsity level for the Demons. Braylen surely doesn’t backdown from competition and effort while on the floor. He plays the game with a very competitive mindset and willingness to win.
Mumford runs with Upward Stars SE Pee Dee 16U on the Grassroots Circuit. Don’t let the size scare you when you see the young man. He certainly makes up for willingness to find teammates open on the floor along with hitting some shots along the way.
