It's that time of year again where we do our quarterly rankings updates, and we will start with the senior class! We've had quite a while to compile our 2025 rankings over the past four years, so we had a solid list already but that doesn't mean things haven't changed with transfers and shakeups throughout the list.

We will be doing content throughout the week on new additions, biggest risers and positional rankings. Here's a look at part three of the top power forwards and centers in the senior class.

Womack waited his turn at PVI, playing as a key role player for the past few years for a PVI team that was one of the best in the country and finished as the national runner-ups last year, and this summer he stepped into a bigger role and saw his recruitment take off at the DMV Live. As senior he's played a much bigger role as one of their go-to guys and helping them win the WCAC yet again, as he provides a unique blend of skills that makes him a walking mismatch for them. While he's a little undersized as a four man, he is very strong and is able to muscle his way into the paint to rebound and finish through contact, he can step out and knock down shots and he can guard multiple positions too. He's committed to Towson University in the CAA for next year.

Hamilton was a prospect who caught our eye going into his junior year at Highland School, however some nagging foot injuries have held him back until he got healthy heading into this year, and he's been a big part for a Hawks team that has played a gauntlet of a schedule and been one of the best teams in the state. Hamilton's defensive first mindset with his length, mobility and athleticism have been a big reason the Hawks are in the state semifinals and won the regular season in the Elite Prep League, with him as their only traditional big man. At 6'8” he's an explosive athlete who can finish above the rim with authority, he has soft touch around the rim with both hands, he moves his feet well to switch and he still has a lot of room to improve moving forward. He's an available prospect who could be a steal for a team to get late.

3) [player_tooltip player_id='1591318' first='Riley' last='Jacobs'] | 6'8” C | St. Stephen's St. Agnes (#13 Overall)

Jacobs has quietly been one of the most productive big men in the DMV over the past few years, as he's been successful both with the Saints and on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit with New World against some of the top players in the country. At 6'8” he's a unique new school style of big man who can play both on the perimeter and in the paint, as he's improved in his ability to knock down shots from deep, he can put it on the deck in straight lines and he can post up smaller guys as well. He's a big time athlete who runs the floor well with his guards and thrives in an uptempo system, he can switch and guard multiple positions and he's very explosive as a finisher and a rim protector as well. He's committed to UMBC and should be able to compete for early minutes when he gets there.

2) Deondrea Lindsay | 6'7” PF | Oak Hill (#7 Overall)

Lindsay has had a great season for Oak Hill on the Nike EYSL Circuit, helping bring them back to the national stage and making it clear that he's one of the best available big men in the country that can impact the game at the next level immediately. While years ago he may have been considered undersized, that isn't the case as much anymore, and his mix of strength and versatility makes him a tough cover as well. He's able to muscle his way in and finish in the paint through contact, he can step out and knock down shots from deep, he's an explosive athlete as a finisher and shot blocker and he can face up and take defenders off the bounce too. He is being highly touted by high majors and should make a decision before the signing period in April.

1) [player_tooltip player_id='1494107' first='Silas' last='Barksdale'] | 6'8” PF | Woodside (#6 Overall)

Barksdale has earned the right to be the top rated forward in the class, after he's put together a very impressive resume throughout his high school career including two state championships and a chance at a third one this year. The 6'8” four man is as productive as they come, as he plays with a fantastic motor which is coupled with great hands and soft touch around the rim, making him a double-double machine who's highly efficient as well. He's a good athlete who can get up and down the floor and play in transition with the guards, he finishes extremely well through contact, he scores it with both hands around the rim, can protect the rim and switch defensively and he is a good rebounder as well. He committed to VCU over a number of high major suitors, and is a great fit for Coach Ryan Odom and the Rams.
