He had 20 plus points in the game, utilizing his knockdown jumper and his next level speed with the ball. But we know the offensive stuff about him. Elam also made big plays on the defensive end. And that came on a 14 point night when a known shooter didn't even shoot that much. His defensive energy set the tone of the game. Francis recognized shooters and engaged them early, making them work especially hard for good looks at the rim. I don't always track points scored, but he had to have had 20. Adrian made a 3rd quarter run, but Goins got hot from behind the arc and kept his team within striking distance.
