With the season finishing up weeks ago I thought about how many seniors we have in the state that still haven't signed with a school yet. I put together a few list of players who can play at the next level. Starting with some of the more known names in the state in Steve's Unsigned Senior Stars: Part 2!

[player_tooltip player_id='1385300' first='Antonio' last='Munoz'] Whitney Young 6'5

Uber athletic Munoz can spark a run or momentum with his dunks or powerful blocks in a game. Antonio has improved his skill set from the wing and has gone from an undersized four-man to a solid wing player for college next season. Munoz can score off the dribble and will hit an occasional jump shot. He is best at scoring off missed shots with his quick second jump. He plays with a very high motor. Division 1 athleticism makes him a double-double threat.

[player_tooltip player_id='2217959' first='Dustyn' last='Collins'] Centralia 6'5

Collins is a downstate prospect who will put you on a poster when least expected. Dustyn is a wing player who plays the game with a chip on his shoulder. His energy and how hard he attacked the lanes is fun to watch. Collins is a glass eater who makes a living off tip dunks when guys don't box him out. Dustyn does a good job scoring in the post making quick moves around the rim and finishing through contact. Schools are getting a player who's playing to win anytime he steps on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1385290' first='Amari' last='Edwards'] Kenwood 5'10

Edwards was an all-area honorable mention this season for the Broncos. Usually the smallest guy on the court who always made the biggest plays for his team. Amari always took the big shots and never ran away from a moment. Edwards has college range on his shot and is a dependable playmaker when getting downhill. Would benefit from going JUCO, creating some national buzz, and then going D1.

[player_tooltip player_id='2452415' first='Brad' last='Johnson'] Curie 6'3

Johnson is a big shooting guard who can fill it up from mid-range and on the perimeter. He's another strong guard who doesn't have issues with scoring in the lane because of his build. Colleges who like to pick up full court would love his energy and effort as a defender. Brad figures out how to be effective in some way on either side of the ball. Small schools and JUCOs would benefit him well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1385296' first='Yaris' last='Irby'] Niles North 5'11

Irby is a dynamic scoring point guard who puts points up on the board in a hurry. He has college-range shot-making capabilities and is a handful off the bounce. Yaris is a guard who can create for himself and others with his handle and second-speed burst. As a lefty he finishes well with both hands at the rim using good body control and touch when the ball leaves his hand. Irby has shown how tough he is as a defender being very good as an on-ball guy pestering players 94 feet. Could find a D2 or JUCO.

[player_tooltip player_id='1439013' first='Julien' last='Doyle'] Simeon's 6'5

Doyle is an athletic two-way player who can beat you from inside or out. He's a dependable shooter who has good mechanics and can hit shots on the perimeter and from the mid-range consistently. Julien is very dangerous in transition because he can spread to the wing for a three or catch a lob at the rim for a dunk. With added strength on the college level, Doyle can easily help on both sides of the ball. I can see him playing at a D1 after a JUCO stint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2321398' first='Zack' last='Sharkey'] Marian Catholic 6'3

Zack has been the model of consistency for two years in high school. He's one of the few players who average close to 20 points per game this season and has a reputation as a will-not-quit competitor. Sharkey is considered a combo guard that tough to scout. He has a very good IQ in the game and will score from all three levels. Zack will make shots from all over the court with or without a hand in his face. For his size he isn't afraid to mix it up with the guys in the paint to get rebounds. Sharkey can easily be a D2 steal for anyone looking for an energetic shooter with a good motor. A stint in JUCO could get him a D1 look.

[player_tooltip player_id='2044507' first='Brent' last='Taylor'] Homewood-Flossmoor 6'3

Taylor is a talented guard who came into the season with lots of fanfare. He's an athletic guard who can get to the basket off one or two dribbles so easily. He's a double-digit scorer who is crafty with the rock and sneaky athleticism. Taylor is a three-level guy who will hit open shots if you don't find him. As a distributor Brent looks to make the right play more so when playing off-ball screens. As a defender, he anticipates well in the passing lanes and gets his fair share of steals. He's a JUCO kid who can find his way to a D1 with added strength.
