Kenwood 58 Simeon 56

This would be labeled as the game of the night as Kenwood fought back to win after being down by 19 points in the third quarter. The Broncos found themselves down big most of the first half behind the shooting of 2026 Simeon guard [player_tooltip player_id='1552394' first='Andre' last='Tyler'] as his strong start helped pace the [program_tooltip program_id='2076046' first='Wolverines' last=''] early. Also 2025 forward Julian Doyle played strong around the rim scoring through contact and forcing fouls to some of Kenwood's players. Skipping to the fourth quarter when the Broncos made their run. [player_tooltip player_id='2125612' first='Devin' last='Cleveland'] and his team forced several turnovers to cut the lead down to 2 in the last couple of moments of the game. [player_tooltip player_id='2321397' first='TJ' last='Seals'] scored the game-tying tip in bucket as time expired on a missed shot from Cleveland that sent that to OT. In the OT Devin hit the game-winning layup and free throws that kept the Broncos on top. Cleveland finished with 18 points while Seals helped with 12 points and 9 rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id='1552394' first='Andre' last='Tyler'] led all scorers with 22 points and 7 rebounds.

Brother Rice 65 Hilcrest 58

The Crusaders were led by their super trio of [player_tooltip player_id='1545120' first='Marcos' last='Gonzales'] 22 points, [player_tooltip player_id='1766504' first='Caden' last='Workman'] 14 points, and [player_tooltip player_id='2538898' first='Jack' last='Weigus'] 19 points. The game was close around halftime before Brother Rice took control and never looked back.

St. Laurence 67 Hyde Park 51

St. Laurence led from start to finish in this one. A frantic start with high energy and good guard play on both sides. Senior guards [player_tooltip player_id='1766462' first='Zerrick' last='Johnson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1766461' first='EJ' last='Mosley'] led the way for the Vikings. Johnson scored 17 points and Mosley finished with 16 points with 5 assists. Hyde Park did their best to fight back but St. Laurence just had too much firepower.
