(14 points) lifted Park into the Division 2 championship game with a sterling 27-2 record. Cedarburg, which fought tooth and nail for the entire 36 minutes, closes its season with a 20-9 mark.
*** Robinson, an ultra quick and highly competitive 6-foot-1 point guard, set a WIAA Division 2 record for most steals in a game with seven. He broke the previous record of six held by four different players. Robinson, who has quick hands, now has a remarkable 132 steals on the campaign, easily the most of any player in the WIAA State Tournament. Robinson also had seven rebounds and four assists. He was recently named Player of the Year in the Southeast Conference.

missed almost a full 11 minutes of the game due to picking up his third foul in the first half. He was scoreless at intermission, but played the entire second half without fouling while scoring 11 points and snaring six rebounds. Zahour also had the shot that would have won it for Cedarburg at the end, but it bounced off the rim.

, and then held off a gritty Wausau East squad to move into the Division 2 state-title game during its first ever trip to the WIAA State Tournament. Kloskey, an emerging 6-foot-5 wing who has turned in a spectacular junior season, finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds. He also had five steals and four assists. Brown, a whirlwind sophomore who beats opponents off the bounce, had 22 points, seven assists and five rebounds while also drawing a remarkable 11 fouls. And Hansen, a senior shooter with a good feel for the game, added 14 points, four rebounds and a couple of steals. That production from coach Chris Newbauer’s Big Three was simply too much to overcome for Wausau East.
*** Wauwatosa West has won 13 straight contests entering its Division 2 title game with Racine Park. The Trojans shared the Greater Metro Conference crown with Brookfield Central and then beat the Lancers in the playoffs. The trio of Kloskey, Brown and Hansen all figure to play at the scholarship level in college and have carried the load for the Trojans, but they also get solid contributions from a number of others.
