He can protect the ball well against aggressive defenses and he can handle some of that physicality. He has early strength for his age going left and right. He makes good reads and has a top notch IQ for his age. He has length and a solid plus on his wingspan. It looks like he could get a few more inches when it comes to his height. James can play the lead guard as well as on the wing. He can attack the rim and make that outside jumper that will keep defenders guessing. Mulford can absolutely score the ball. With a mixture of elite handles and elite shooting he brings a lot of skill to the table. He is reading defenses way above his age as he makes teams pay for what they give him. He is a shifty player that is challenging to defend on an island. When he is given too much space he takes advantage and can get downhill quickly. If he gets pressured he is strong enough with the ball that he could get by defenders as well. Then you add the fact that he is a killer in the midrange. Even though he has length he is very capable as a lead guard early which will only help his development moving forward. He fits the bigger ball handling and creating mold that seems to be what next level coaches are looking for. He is still raw in some aspects but do not be surprised to see him on the varsity floor right off the bat. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
