While a lot of the player were turning heads were playing above the rim or almost peaking athletically Skinner displayed a very mature and controlled style of play. Skinner was pressured but he used strong ball handling and his change of speed allowed him to create space against some of these intense up in your face defenders. Skinner will not only develop even more skill wise but he will grow and with his lead guard skills he will be able to play all over the floor.

Skinner is a poised and skilled player that has a solid handle. He can protect the ball well against aggressive defenses and he can handle some of that physicality. He has early strength for his age going left and right. Solid fundamental jumper with good lift on a catch and shoot and a textbook jumper off the bounce.
