Sobush carries a reputation as a shooter, but it might have been his aggressiveness and ability to attack off the bounce that made the difference in this game. He touched the paint with the ball and looked to make plays for himself and his teammates. Sobush showed blow by speed with the ball that led to a bucket. He used that fast first step again later in the game and finished with a layup. Sobush even went coast to coast off a board for a bucket. He can still shoot and he showed that with an almost logo 3 pointer and a deep mid range jumper. Sobush distributed as well. He had an on target over the top post feed and a dump off to a cutter for an assist.

White was a force for Gabriel Richard. When they wanted to get aggressive and attack, he stepped to the plate. White went downhill with the ball repeatedly. White attacked the rim off the baseline and picked up an assist off a drop off pass. He attacked from the wing as well, getting a bucket. White also added a floater finish/

Tropea ended a terrific high school career. A great guard and one of the classiest opponents you'd ever want to play. He was patient on offense and was a willing passer. Tropea did give us a look at the range on his jumper when hit a deep 3 with a hand in his face. I loved the way that he led his team. Tropea was vocal and able to direct traffic offensively for his team.

A little bit of a technical glitch so I couldn't connect this to the Wayne State commit's profile, but there was no glitch in his game last night. Balance never seems to be an issure with Westerdale's jumper. He buried a pull up triple, the kind that most players just can't hit with any type of consistency. No big deal for Westerdale. He hit a deep triple and then a highlight reel corner 3 later in the game. Westerdale showed that he's not a 1 dimensional offensive player though. He used blow by speed to pick up a high percentage finish at the rim.

Kage is tough to deal with in the paint. He was able to score off a put back and showed a nice spin move over his left shoulder off the block. What I came away the most impressed with was his ability to pass out of the post. Kage found targets and hit them with some zip on the pass.

Callan is one of the top freshman in the state. It's that simple. He was so patient and poised for a freshman. Especially for a freshman playing a key role in a huge game. We saw the kind of shooter that he can be. Callan hit 3 wing triples in the game. We saw some of his shiftiness with the ball too when he drove and finished with an and 1.
