We released our updated Class of 2028 Prospect Rankings on Monday evening. This update featured our first shot at ranking the Top 25 prospects in the class, over 50 new names, and the growth of our database to nearly 350 names in the current freshman class. As always, here at Prep Hoops Indiana, we don't just release rankings and forget about them. We strive to always dive deeper than that. Throughout this week we will be highlighting each of the Top 25 prospects, going over some of the new names added to the Watch List, and taking a closer look at some of the highest upside prospects that narrowly missed the cut in our initial Top 25. Let's take a closer look at prospects 10-6.

To step in and have the type of freshman season at the Class 4A level for a Top 10 team in the state that Bowling III has had is very, very impressive. The talented 6'4" wing is averaging 9.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game for the Indians. It is Bowling III's length and athleticism that stood out right away at our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase, but the ball skill he has shown throughout the season is what solidified him as a Top 10 prospect.

Anytime you get a 6'9" freshman you are going to get excited about their upside and they will likely be ranked very highly in initial prospect rankings. However, there is actually a good deal of production to back up the upside of Kiteka. Admittedly, he doesn't play against the best competition at Cloverdale, but it isn't easy for a young big man of his size to put up 14.1 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 4.2 blocks per game. Kiteka deserves to be recognized as a Top 10 prospect in the class.

The son of University of Saint Francis head coach Chad LaCross has such impressive size and physical tools for a freshman guard. He is 6'3" and very strong for his age. That physicality allows him to play through contact while his elevation and his jump shot remains impressive as well. LaCross is averaging 7.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.0 steals per game for Blackhawk Christian who is a contender in Class 3A. His 46-110 shooting, 41.8%, is most intriguing.

Nash was one of the first freshman to burst onto the scene this summer as he was starring in a role for Kokomo at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June. The athletic, physical, 6'3" wing as parlayed that into a strong freshman season for the Wildkats as he averages 9.9 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Nash's physical tools on the perimeter really given him an advantage not just against his peers, but most other prospects out on the wing.

Hardiman was among the standouts at our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase back int he fall and then we had the chance to get eyes on him at the Phil Cox Memorial Holiday Tournament at Kokomo just after Christmas. The 6'2"-6'3" guard has been one of the top freshman scorers in the state this season averaging 15.5 points per game for the Pirates while shooting 31-94 (33.0%) from three-point range.
