Prep Hoops Indiana Class 3A State Finals Preview

Not only will Gainbridge Fieldhouse host the IHSAA Boys Basketball State Finals on Saturday, but Lucas Oil Stadium is the host of Friday's Sweet 16 and Sunday's Elite Eight games for the Midwest Regional. Personally, I'll be taking in all seven basketball games between the two sites this coming weekend. Before all of that takes place though, we will spend the week highlighting the state finalists. South Bend St. Joseph returned a ton from last season's state runner-up team. Three teams that won Class 4A Sectional titles last season moved down to Class 3A. Then, additionally, Cathedral and Crispus Attucks dropped down and were placed in the same Sectional. These are the two teams that have navigated the minefields and reached Gainbridge Fieldhouse. It will likely be an up-tempo game featuring two teams that have a ton of talent. [player_tooltip player_id='1297019' first='Dezmon' last='Briscoe'] offers a size component that South Bend St. Joseph doesn't really have, but the depth of the Huskies on the perimeter likely gives them an advantage there.
