In order to win a state championship you have to have players who excel in their role. Goins did just that on Saturday shooting a perfect 5-5 from three-point range as his teammates fed him the basketball. The junior guard tied for the team lead in scoring with 17 points while also grabbing 3 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists.

Graber served as a consistent playmaker for Barr-Reeve in their 50-37 state championship victory over Triton. The 6'0" sophomore guard controlled the game with the ball in his hands finishing with 11 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals in the win for the Vikings. He is part of a young, and talented, core that will help keep Barr-Reeve at the top of Class 1A for the next couple of years.

A Hope College signee, Grau put up a team-leading 14 points to go along with 7 rebounds for Westview, but the Warriors fell 57-56 in the Class 2A State Championship game against Parke Heritage. Grau hit a couple of big three-point shots in the game and gave his team a chance to win the game.

A long, lean, sophomore forward for Barr-Reeve, Miller found success around the basket as the game went along. Triton jumped out to a 6-0 lead, but it was Miller's steady presence that won out of the course of the contest. He finished some tough shots inside and was excellent on the glass at both ends of the floor. Miller ended up leading the Vikings with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 blocks in their state championship victory.

It was a fitting end to Schelsky's career by not only winning a state championship but also dropping off the game-winning assist to a team. Schelsky has done a lot of winning during his four-year career at Parke Heritage High School. The Huntington signee finished up on Saturday with 17 points and 5 assists.

Triton struggled at times with Barr-Reeve's pressure defense. However, Swanson was able to counter with his own athleticism and get the basket in order to burn off some of that pressure. The senior guard ended up leading the Trojans with 16 points in the 50-37 loss to Barr-Reeve in the Class 1A State Championship game.
