While this article takes the form of a retrospective review, it's really more of a look forward, as we take a look at several noteworthy performers from the PCL season who showed glimpses of breakout potential in the year to come. They may not have been All-League performers just yet, but make no mistake that their presence will be felt moving forward within the PCL landscape and beyond.

There were moments of still getting his feet wet, understandable as he was moving up from the freshman level at Lower Merion (PA), but Brown looked increasingly comfortable as the year went on and appears set to make a real splash on the league as an upperclassman. With tremendous length and natural two-way instincts, Brown impacts the game consistently without needing significant touches or usage. He shines as a defensive playmaker with versatility up and down the lineup. Offensively, he's an efficient finisher with feathery touch near the cup and increasingly reliable ability to space the floor from 3. The flashes of scoring and playmaking off the bounce are just the cherry on top, but could push him toward the mid or high major ranks if they continue to develop over time.

Many looking on in the sold out Palestra crowd at the PCL championship may have been surprised to see Moshinski come off the bench for a key eight points in the defensive slugfest, but those familiar with his play from the summer circuit know it was a potential sign of more to come for the athletic, high-energy swingman. With ideal positional size for the next level and an infectious spring in his step, Moshinski plays a low-maintenance game as a transition scorer, off-ball cutter, and halfcourt floor-spacer. He shows flashes of ball skills worth developing over time as well that could point to a really intriguing upside if all comes together. As he continues to play with more confidence and shoot with more consistency, he has a chance to catapult onto D1 radars with more opportunity over the summer.

Stepping up from a small role as a JV piece and little-used reserve, Jenkins continued his momentum from a strong summer with a highlight-filled sophomore season that offered a window into what's to come for the uber-talented modern forward. As talented a defensive prospect as there is in the class, Jenkins racked up blocks and deflections with his enormous length and preternatural agility, covering the court with an ease that few his size can match while displaying a nonstop motor in pursuit of the ball. What places Jenkins on breakout watch for the year to come were the flashes of offensive skill that he'll look to tap into further with increased reps, as he displays a soft touch out to the 3-point line and a developing core of faceup scoring moves that could eventually be really tough to stop. The impact was felt already, but the ceiling here still isn't close to being reached.

The breakout technically may have began down the stretch of the season, with McKie really making a splash at the Palestra in Prep's season-ending semifinal loss, but there's no doubt the future will be even brighter as the young swingman steps into a marquee role with the departure of an accomplished 2025 class. A natural forward at younger levels, he showed important signs of moving his game out toward the perimeter while developing into a reliable and increasingly confident threat from beyond the arc. Where McKie really shined though was with his energy, athleticism, and instincts across the floor game on both ends, rare for such a young prospect, let alone one with his physical gifts. His physical tools and approach provide a safe floor, but the upside here could be scary as McKie begins to incorporate more of an on-ball skillset in the coming years.

It didn't come with much fanfare as Egan took some expected lumps behind a young core under first-year coach Sean Tait, but Bobb showed important signs of growth pointing to a potential breakout year as a senior if he can maintain his progress through the summer. An active and athletic forward with a well-developed frame, he's most natural using his size and physicality as a junkyard guy around the rim. The alluring upside begins to come into play when considering the flashes of floor-spacing and straight-line slashing from the perimeter. Young for his grade and also a high-level student, Bobb could look like a really interesting upside play by this time next year for the right program at the scholarship level.
