It is a very busy time of year here at Prep Hoops Indiana headquarters. Not only are we providing wall-to-wall coverage of the IHSAA State Tournament, but we are also in the middle of updating all of our prospect rankings. Last week, we released our initial Top 25 prospects in the Class of 2028. Then, on Tuesday, we updated and expanded our Class of 2027 prospect rankings. As always, we will spend the week diving deeper into those rankings highlight some of the stock-risers, new names, and much more. Here are six prospects who made their debut either in our rankings or on our watch list with this update.

Garner is a very intriguing prospect. He plays outside of the IHSAA with the Indianapolis Homeschool Wildcats which will inevitably keep him a bit under-the-radar. However, we had the opportunity to see him play at the Bob Wettig Memorial Tournament in Richmond and he is a very good player. He has the obvious size at 6'7"-6'8", but the skill that comes along with it is why he debuts inside of our Top 75. Garner averaged 18.9 points and 7.7 rebounds while shooting 34-96 from three-point range.

If you have played your way into the rotation at Ben Davis as a sophomore it means you are pretty darn good. Powe II did that this season averaging 2.7 points and 1.7 assists per game while being thrust into a role in the Giants' backcourt. His speed and on-ball defensive ability kept him earning minutes throughout the season.

Sullivan's front court is a lot for opposing teams to handle. After getting his feet wet as a freshman, Ridgway exploded this past season averaging 13.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for the Golden Arrows. His fluid athleticism, footwork, and ability to switch across multiple positions defensively give him some further upside. He will look to continue to develop and improve his outside shooting as well.

The younger brother of Drew, who is one of the top uncommitted Class of 2025 prospects, Nick found his way into the varsity rotation at times during his sophomore season. He already checks a lot of boxes athletically and physically with a good, solid 6'4" frame and fluid mobility. Look for him to continue to really breakout heading into next season where a much larger role will be bestowed upon him.

There are a ton of talented pieces, especially talented young pieces, coming up through Pike High School right now. One of four sophomores that were in the Red Devils' rotation this season, Washington averaged 5.2 points and 2.6 assists per game. He is lightning quick with the ball in his hands, a very good passer as he attacks the paint, and a pesky on-ball defender.

In somewhat unexpected turn of events, Western Boone is still playing. The Stars cut down the nets in Sectional 37 and will take their 11-14 overall record on to the Regional round. Westerfield, a 6'3" sophomore wing, has been a big part of their success. He averages 13.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game which are both second o the team. Westerfield will certainly be the focal point of Western Boone's squad over the next couple of years.
