As always, Prep Hoops Indiana brought nightly coverage from all corners of the state throughout the weekend. However, there are always seems to be some news that slips through the cracks. That is what happens when you are trying to cover a state like Indiana with so much going on at all times. There were some game results that we still want to discuss, record-breaking performances that deserve mention, and a handful of other top performers that we did not cover on Friday or Saturday night. Let's dive on in and highlight some of the leftovers from yet another busy weekend of Indiana High School Basketball.

Fishers is the obvious best team in the state of Indiana and it isn't particularly close. The defending Class 4A state champions have spent the entire season ranked #1 and are now 21-0 with a big game at Lawrence North coming on Tuesday evening. However, the Avon Orioles have emerged as possibly the new #2 team in Indiana. They lost to the Tigers 69-45, but are 18-2 on the season after back-to-back wins over the weekend against Franklin Central and Carmel. Their only other loss of the season came on opening night against Plainfield, 47-41, a loss they have since avenged with a 65-44 victory in the Hendricks County Tournament Championship.

It has been an up-and-down season for Greenwood Christian after spending much of last year in the Class 1A Top 10 and advancing to the Semi-State. However, this senior point guard has certainly held his own and had a great season. On Saturday night, in a 63-45 win over Speedway, Reed became Greenwood Christian's all-time assist leader. He is committed to play at Indiana Wesleyan.

Then, the Bears turned around on Saturday evening and defeated Ben Davis 55-50 to earn a share of the Metropolitan Conference championship.
E'Twaun Moore had a good run as the Cardinals all-time leading scorer. The Purdue standout went on to play 10 seasons in the NBA after winning the 2007 Class 4A State Championship at East Chicago Central. However, on Saturday night, the torch was passed to [player_tooltip player_id='1297020' first='Dominique' last='Murphy Jr']. The unsigned senior guard who averages 22.2 points and 8.4 rebounds per game surpassed Moore's record of 1,829 career points.
