It's that time of year again where we do our quarterly rankings updates, and we will start with the senior class! We've had quite a while to compile our 2025 rankings over the past four years, so we had a solid list already but that doesn't mean things haven't changed with transfers and shakeups throughout the list.

We will be doing content throughout the week on new additions, biggest risers and positional rankings. Here's a look at part three of the top shooting guards and small forwards in the senior class.

Elamin broke onto the scene after transferring to PVI the summer going into his junior season, and after an up and down year for the national runner-up last year, he stepped into a major role this year helping them win yet another WCAC Championship. At 6'8” with long arms and a naturally explosive athlete, Elamin has a lot of upside with his perimeter skillset and ability to play multiple positions. He can knock down shots at a high clip from deep, he can put it on the deck in dribble hand-offs and run the pick-and-roll ,he thrives in transition and he's able to defend and play multiple positions to give his team different looks. He committed to Utah State win the Mountain West earlier this season.

Paganos came to Massanutten to play in the Elite Prep League from Greece in August, and the “Athens Assassin” as we nicknamed him wasted no time showing he's a high major recruit, earning First Team EPL honors averaging 17.4 points and 8.1 rebounds while shooting 41.7% from deep in EPL play. At 6'9” with a euro-style game that includes the ability to handle, shoot and pass, Pagonis has made a name for himself in the prep ranks, having multiple 30 point games against some of the top talent in the country. While he isn't the most athletic guy out there he's able to knock down shots from deep off the catch or off the bounce, he can get downhill and is able to draw and finish through contact and he has a high IQ and a lot of craftiness to his game. He's still undecided and is perhaps one of the most under recruited players in the entire country.

Crotty transferred to Miller School last year where he made history with the most made three-pointers in a season in Virginia history while leading the Mavericks to a state championship, and he's followed it up with another big season where they're set up to make a run at a repeat as well. The 6'6” wing is a dynamite shot maker with in the gym range and the confidence you look for in a shooter, as he isn't afraid to let it fly from anywhere and he's able to get open off the ball or step into it when he's on the ball too and he's got excellent rhythm. His ability to make tough shots on the move and from well beyond the arc is his strongest quality, but he's also a fierce competitor who gets after it on the both ends, and he can attack downhill and finish at the rim as well. He's heading to Oklahoma State in the Big 12 where his shooting ability should give him a chance to make an early impact for the Cowboys.

Scott has become somewhat of a Virginia legend over the last few years, staying loyal to his public school despite pressure to transfer to a WCAC school, and bringing home a state championship to South Lakes as a junior last season. The 6'7” wing has all the intangibles you would want with his prototypical size, his ability to impact the game across the board on both ends of the floor and his unselfishness and the fact that his teammates love to play with him. At 6'7” Scott is an excellent shooter from deep, he's a good secondary ball handler who can create is an athletic finisher around the rim, he is unselfish and makes plays for others and he's a very good defender both on the ball and in help side. He's committed to Michigan State in the Big 10 with legendary Coach Tom Izzo who loves players just like Scott.

Ament became the top ranked player in our rankings during his sophomore season, and he hasn't looked back as he went from relative obscurity on the national scaled to being a consensus top 5 player in the country and and a projected lottery pick two years from now. The 6'9” wing is one of the most versatile prospects I have scouted in the past decade, as he is literally capable of doing anything on the floor with his unique skillset at his size and ability to play within multiple roles. He's long and athletic enough to block shots and rebound with the best of them, he can shoot the ball from deep and is able to handle it in transition, he has terrific feel as a passer and playmaker, he is an athletic finisher above the rim and he can switch and guard multiple positions too. He's considered the best available prospect in the country with a final five of Duke, Tennessee, Louisville, Arkansas and Kentucky.
