Among the more skilled and productive frontcourt prospects in prep school, Pagonis also showed his toughness, shaking off an abrasion on his chin to key a tight win. Struggling to get going with the skilled perimeter game for which he’s become known, the Greek import showcased a hard-nosed interior skillset with the game hanging in the balance. He also impressed with his ability to move his feet defensively on the perimeter and keep opposing guards in front. Having adapted quickly to the speed and style of the American game, it’s hard to believe more mid-major programs haven’t begun prioritizing Pagonis heading into the spring.

has the potential to be a special player at the next level. He has great size for a wing at 6’8 and can knock down the three efficiently. Panagiotis will spend a post-grad season at Massanutten Military Academy after being in Greece. Pagonis can handle the ball and is a fantastic finisher around the rim. Pagonis has all the skills you look for in a modern wing, and he will have a great year at Massanutten. He has already provided what’s to come earlier this month at the CBG JUCO/Prep Jamboree, where he looked fantastic.
