The 6'1" guard finished with 26 points and 5 rebounds after posting 22 points and 5 rebounds on Friday night in a win over Franklin Central.</p>

The talented, left-handed point guard poured in a career-high 34 points on Friday night in the Marauders 73-56 win over Marion. Then, Ertel backed up that performance with a 33-point scoring effort on Saturday evening in their win over Southport. Mt. Vernon (Fortville) is now 15-4 on the season with a big game coming on Friday night at New Palestine.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Southwestern (Hannover) is a really strong program and Floyd Central is certainly on a downward swing, but it is still big deal for these 2A programs to knock off area 4A programs. Kidwell, a 6'6" forward that recently committed to Mount St. Joseph, scored 18 points to help lift the Rebels to victory. They are now 15-4 on the season heading into Tuesday's contest at Providence.</p>
