About Alex

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Someone who is trying to make the right play for the team. Sometimes that means I pass up a good shot to get my teammate a great one. Sometimes my role changes, therefore I adapt in order to serve what is best for the team. I believe this mentality is why we are in the state championship! Whatever it takes!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm someone who tries to lead by example through effort and attitude. I'm friendly and talkative off the court, but extremely focused on the court. My mentality is to always be a student of the game. I believe the game honors toughness.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm in the student council and I volunteer to ring the bell for the Salvation Army. I also participate in tennis and baseball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership requires perseverance and grit. You have to maintain your composure in order to learn and adjust. Having four different coaches and four years of playing has taught me that.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, as mentioned above, my high school lost a coach each year. I transferred my senior year (not due to that), but having to fit in with not only a new coach, but new players was hard.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm willing to look at all levels, but I do think I've been overlooked due to all the coaching changes. Regardless, I want the right academic fit. I've scored over 1,200 points and have broke two state 3pt records. I continue to be in the top ten in 3-pt makes, while shooting 47% from 3pt.

Everything for CP will run through McGraw but the second option for the Gophers is senior guard Alex Farley Alex Farley Alex Farley 6'1" | PG Clinton Prairie | 2025 IN , who is the X-Factor for them. Farley has had a strong senior season with his 16.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists per game. He is one of the more well-rounded guards in this game with his ability to score at a high level while also being a good facilitator.

The pure shooting ability of this senior guard has really given the Gophers a new dimension offensively this season. Farley ended up with 22 points to help Prep Hoops Indiana Class 1A #3 Clinton Prairie advanced to the Sectional 54 semifinals with a 64-40 victory over Carroll (Flora). Not only can Farley shoot the basketball, but he displayed some playmaking chops off of the dribble throughout the game as well.
