<p>Cincinnati Sycamore and Medina pulled off big upsets in round 1 taking down Archbishop Moeller and Massillon Jackson respectively. Sycamore was led by senior duo [player_tooltip player_id='1285291' first='Tariq' last='Kimbrough'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1888353' first='Sam' last='Imade'] who combined for 34 of the teams 44 total points. In other Division I news, Saint Edward had to move their game down the road after a ceiling leak caused a stoppage 30 seconds in. The Eagles hung on for a tight victory and will take on Cleveland Heights in the district finals in the Lakewood gym where they had to move their game to last night. Dublin Coffman made a statement against Hillard Darby as seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1721059' first='Colin' last='McClure'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2202107' first='Stone' last='Clifton'] had big games for Dublin Coffman who advance to play Pickerington North in a district final. Canton McKinley was another Division I team that picked up an impressive victory by taking down Strongsville on the road, senior Reed Sims Jr had a big night for the Pups who will look to qualify for the regional tournament for a 50th time in program history.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Favorites rule Division III battles</h2>

<p>One of the few Division's with not many early round upsets, Division III is shaping up to give fans some exciting district final matchups. One of the most exciting games so far happened last night when Bedford defeated Barberton in overtime. Franklin took down Tippecanoe in a rare Division III upset last night.</p>

<p>River Valley and Jonathan Alder both picked up big wins in district semifinal action last night, each team awaits to see who they will face in the district finals with the two other district semifinals happening tonight. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2530669' first='Danny' last='Bentley'] led the way for Jonathan Alder as the conference champs defeated their league rival after splitting the regular season series.</p>

<p>Milford Center Fairbanks pulled off the upset of the night taking down Harvest Prep for the Warriors earliest exit in nine years. That statement win brings them a district final showdown with Columbus Academy, who won by 56 points in their district semifinal. Garfield Heights Trinity also secured an upset win over conference champion Fairview on the road. Trinity advances to play Canton Central Catholic in the district title game.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Division VI Northwest Ohio takes shape</h2>

<p>The five Division VI district title games in northwest Ohio are set after some intense district semifinal games. Colonel Crawford and Ashland Crestview meet after a season opening win for [player_tooltip player_id='2203931' first='Justice' last='Thompson'] and company. Mohawk will look to make it two in a row over TAAC schools after defeating Toledo Christian last night. Convoy Crestview and Lima Central Catholic meet for a second time, the T-Birds won 53-50 in the regular season as [player_tooltip player_id='1888255' first='Jordan' last='Priddy'] had a big night. In the last region 22 district final top seeds Patrick Henry and Evergreen will battle it out. Also in the northwest district but region 24, it'll be an all MAC district title as Marion Local and Coldwater meet again, the Flyers won the regular season meeting by 7.</p>
