He's a tenacious rebounder with a great nose for the ball, making him difficult to box out. At 260 pounds, he sets solid screens that force defenders to work. In the post, he provides a strong physical presence, showcasing square shoulders, good positioning, and playmaking ability with his back to the basket. He's powerful when attacking the rim and commands defensive attention. Additionally, he's an accurate passer from both the high and low post and has the ability to step out and knock down an open three with confidence.

The off-guard immediately stood out with his three-point shooting. He moves well along the perimeter, creating space for quality shot opportunities. Nelson has a fluid release off the catch with solid rotation on his shot. When he finds his rhythm, he has the potential to heat up and knock down big shots that energize the offense. Despite his smaller build, he competes well on the glass and rebounds effectively.

Watching Houlihan shoot the ball is pleasant to the eye. This kid is a sniper from mid-range to the three-point line. Squared stance, clean mechanics, focus on the rim; a pure shot form to say the least. And when he starts to lock in, look out because the shooting-forward heats up nicely. Like the ball-fakes and shot fakes he includes that gets defenders out of position for Houlihan to gently step into the shot. In my opinion, one of the top shooters in the state. Brings a solid third scoring option alongside [player_tooltip player_id='1554516' first='Christopher' last='Kirkpatrick'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1385306' first='Colby' last='Smith'].

He may not be the most talked-about player on a strong Niles North team this season, but D'Andrea makes his presence felt whenever he steps on the floor. A smart player, he stays composed with the ball in his hands, consistently making the right pass, attacking defensive gaps, or knocking down shots from beyond the arc. The junior guard has a knack for hitting timely threes, providing an instant spark when his team needs it.

Oliver is undoubtedly one of the top shooters from deep in the Chicago area. With extended range beyond the arc and a fearless trigger, he's a constant threat from three. Defenses can't afford to lose track of the Condor guard, or he'll make them pay. Beyond his shooting, he has a sharp feel for the game, weaving through the offense and finding open windows to spot up.

A thinner point guard, Dick showcases his creativity by slicing through defenses and facilitating as a playmaker. He has a pass-first mentality, consistently finding open lanes and cutters to set up teammates for scoring opportunities. While he thrives as a distributor, he also has the skill to put pressure on the rim as a secondary scorer. He competes on the boards but could benefit from adding more muscle to round out that aspect of his game.

The sophomore guard brings athleticism and flair to the court. With impressive speed and quickness, he wastes no time attacking the rim, finishing creatively and with strength. He pushes the tempo in transition, either creating open passing lanes or taking it himself with explosive drives and smooth handles. A young, developing talent to keep an eye on at Curie.
