Moimoi has been one of the most improved players this season, emerging as a real leader and go-to guy for Kentridge. He's always shown some impressive athleticism and a big motor but he really took a big step forward working from the perimeter, off the dribble, and knocking down jumpers at a higher rate. He's become stronger with the ball on attacks while staying under control, creates space off of two feet exceptionally well, and has been a bully getting downhill and to the rim. He has a greater understanding of what spots he wants to get to and how to get there, and overall looks more confident on the attack.

McGriff recently received an offer to play at Arizona State, and a big part of his game is his D-I level athleticism. He plays with a good motor and is able to affect the game in a lot of ways, one of the biggest is his tenacity on the glass. He's got the bounce, the strength, and the grit to be a truly impactful rebounder for the Jags. He's a kid who gets up and down the floor, and can cover a lot of ground quickly on the defensive end to make plays. An underrated part of his game that's developed is his recognition when defenses are keying on him and how he can attack gaps to draw in multiple defenders, then swing the ball to the right spots for his teammates to attack.

Heppner is another kid who has made big strides since last season and has become Lynden's top guy as they put together yet another impressive run. The 6-foot-6 wing can make plays from various spots, has the strength to battle inside and work from the blocks, but also has the ability to knock down shots from outside. He's also been a key playmaker for them, seeing the floor, and making sound decisions. The skilled wing leads the Lions into the District 2 championship game against Lakewood on Wednesday night as they look to continue their undefeated season.

Wells has been a tall wing who can hit the three-ball and defend the rim, but he's shown big growth in his ability to score from different spots on the floor. He's able to feel out defenders in the post better, playing stronger down near the hoop and using that improved feel to get a step on defenders and work around them in tight spaces. He's also much improved in the midrange, developing better footwork to get into his shot and expanding his ability to create space by bumping defenders off and quickly getting balanced to rise up. He's been a big factor in getting Freeman to the third spot in the 2B RPI and has them as serious contenders for the 2B title.
