The big guard scored 15 in the win. He is a combination of skills and pure determination. Brad had a pretty quiet game until the fourth where he scored multiple key buckets for Curie which helped them secure the win over Hyde Park. Would need to provide a more consistent effort in the championship game over favorite Kenwood.

The very underrated Holiday was a lift off the bench for the Condors being a scorer around the basket and providing tough interior defense with his long arms and constant mobility to detour shots and second-chance points. He scored 11 points in the win.

Oliver has been the one consistent player in their city playoff run. His play at point guard has provided a steady presence for Curie. He paced his team with 8 points and 7 assists. Justin is crafty off the dribble and found a good balance of scoring and distributing. Oliver is one of the few players in the state who knows how to impact a game without scoring.

Thomas has been the model of consistency for the Thunderbirds. CJ led his team in scoring with 16 points but he didn't start until the second quarter after he and his team went scoreless in the first. His scrappy play and ability to score on ball screens and in the lane was a vital recipe for their run to stay in the game. Thomas' knack to finish in the lane ultimately helped Hyde Park take a brief lead early in the fourth. In the last minutes of the game Curie made adjustments and Thomas didn't get many clean looks the rest of the game.

I've been impressed with the energy and effort Walls plays with. He's been huge on the glass and as a space eater on defense. He pulled in 14 rebounds on record, but I believe he had more with his constant movement and nose to be around the ball. Jacobi didn't score much but his effort for offensive rebounds and second-chance points was one of the huge factors Hyde Park was even in the game. Jacobi has been playing well and hope he keeps this energetic play going into the state playoffs.
