I watched 3 of the 5 AZ teams play on Friday and here were the standouts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1729827' first='Josh' last='Powell'] Skyline Prep (Pictured)

A strong framed scoring guard can fill up the scoreboard in a hurry. He will score it with transition layups in traffic, threes off the catch, mid-range jumpers off the bounce, which seems to be his sweet spot and rebounds the ball well in his area. He scored 15+ points and earned the player of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1451027' first='Dennis' last='Johnson III'] Phhoenix Prep

A combo scoring guard had a big game. He plays off or on the ball and can fire away from the three off the catch, score with offensive rebound put backs, he is quick to get to the basket and uses the floater game to his advantage. He can make a play for a teammate but is mostly looking to score. He had 20+ points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1393777' first='Jyson' last='Kim'] Phhoenix Prep

A bigger scoring guard can fill it up quickly. He has a sharp pull-up off the dribble from mid-range and he can hit the three off the catch and gets hot. He uses his size on defense to rebound and can defend bigger guards and wings.

[player_tooltip player_id='2432465' first='Jayce' last='Underwood'] Phhoenix Prep

A decent sized point guard can score and facilitate. The lefty will drive and kick it perfectly into a teammates shooting pocket after he bursts by his defenders. He will hit the three point shot with an easy stroke.

[player_tooltip player_id='1612213' first='Isaiah' last='Brown'] Phhoenix Prep

An athletic combo guard with some size. He is a natural downhill player who will make tough layups in traffic. He will score with hook shots, dunks and get to the free throw line. He uses his bounce to rebound and make it hard to score on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560912' first='Deandray' last='Hamilton'] Phhoenix Prep

A shooting guard with some size and skill. He can shoot it from the perimeter plus take his defenders off the dribble and get into the lane and use a spin move into a bucket in traffic. He will also score with layups in traffic thru contact for and-1's.

[player_tooltip player_id='2241513' first='Lyris' last='Robinson'] Bella Vista Prep

An athletic bigger combo guard impressed. He can play and defend multiple positions. He scores it with floaters, euro steps down the lane, catch threes and throws it down. He is athletic to block shots on the break off the glass and he is a great on-ball defender and will close out to the shooters quickly. He scored 15+ points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2573957' first='Amari' last='Upshaw'] Bella Vista Prep

A fluid wing who plays the two or three for the team can score and defend. He will hit the catch three with some range and blow by his defenders. he will rip his opponents pockets and score it on the other end with length. He also makes passes with either hand and has advanced court vision. He scored 10+ points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150825' first='Iyayi' last='Osunde'] Bella Vista Prep

An undersized guard who can play the one or two for the team. He has some sneaky speed to get downhill in traffic to score and he can really shoot it from the three off the catch. He makes his money also on defending using his big wingspan and quicker feet. He is becoming your classic 3 and D type.

[player_tooltip player_id='2612100' first='Jeromy' last='Davis Jr'] Skyline Prep

A shooting guard with great length and supreme bounce. He had a couple dunks in the lane including one nasty tip dunk from seemingly out of nowhere. He can score with euro steps, hit the three and pull-up from mid-range. He is also an incredible help side shot blocker with his athleticism. He scored 10+ points.
