3A Section 7: Records, Rankings, Prospects

<p>QRF as of 2/15/2025,<a href="https://www.minnesota-scores.net/boys-sports/basketball/qrf/2024-2025/19956"> click here to see the rankings</a></p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Hibbing 15-7 (20)</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126126' first='Ray' last='Brau'] is a six-foot-eight-inch 2027 sophomore center who's scoring around 23 points per game. Brau has back to the basket ability, can step out on the perimeter and shoot it a bit, and is a good enough athlete to take it all the way and throw down on the break. Brau is a big man with soft hands, good touch, and a very good feel for the game on the offensive side of the ball. </p>    <p>Jack Bottoms is a 2027 six-foot-one-inch guard who's scoring about 18 points per game. Versus Cloquet Bottoms scored 27 points and had 4 steals. Verus Marshall hit 5 3-pointers and scored 33 points. Bottoms has been a threat from beyond the arc all year and has five games with at least 4 3-pointers made in a single game.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1585301' first='Evan' last='Bolden'] is a 2026 forward who is scoring about 13 points per game for the Bluejackets. Bolden offers Hibbing the ability to block shots and he gets his hands on the ball for steals.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cloquet 16-6 (23)</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2104541' first='Jack' last='Battaglia'] is on the Minnesota Mr. Basketball watch list. Battaglia is a high volume scorer and shooter for Cloquet averaging 26.5 points per game and is 60/180 from beyond the arc. It's not all scoring for the senior as he's averaging 5.7 assists and 6.6 rebounds per game as well.</p>    <p>Jacob Nelson is a six-foot-three-inch 2025 senior forward who's scoring 12.2 points per game, making 68% of his total shots, and grabbing 9.4 rebounds.</p>    <p>Noah Hansen is a 2025 senior point guard that is averaging 11.5 points per game and is shooting 35% on 3-pointers.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Duluth Denfeld 15-8 (24)</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2104431' first='Marnaries' last='Ferguson'] is a five-foot-ten-inch 2025 guard with a 34-inch vertical.  Quick guard who's improved his jump shot for his senior year and is scoring 23.5 points per game shooting 48% from field and 36% from 3 and has made 45 3-pointers. Ferguson is a hard worker on defense and shows hustle with his 6.4 rebounds per game. </p>    <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2877064' first='Carter' last='Brown'] is a six-foot-four-inch wing that is averaging 13.6 points per game and 8.4 rebounds. Brown is active, moves well, and can shoot it from the perimeter. Carter has grown into a solid number 2 for Denfeld and even has lifted them at times like versus Cloquet he scored 22 points to lead.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Grand Rapids 10-11 (38)</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1560804' first='Joey' last='Sutherland'] is a six-foot-three-inch wing that is scoring 20 points per game for the Thunderhawks. Sutherland is a secondary ball handling wing/shooting guard. He moves without the ball and can shoot it from the perimeter. Sutherland is an improving athlete and has made strides every year getting better and better.</p>   <p><a href="https://twitter.com/streethistory/status/1820112100699877532">https://twitter.com/streethistory/status/1820112100699877532</a></p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rock Ridge 7-14 (52)</h2>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Hermantown 3-18 (62)</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2466467' first='Lance' last='Janson'] is a six-foot-seven-inch 2026 forward who's missed a few games due to various reasons. Janson likes to play out on the perimeter offensively and does well defending and rebound at the rim on defense. Janson can put the ball on the floor a bit and moves pretty well for his size.</p>    <p>Sawyer Senst is a six-foot-five-inch 2027 big man. Versus St. Paul Harding Senst had a 22 point, 9 rebound, and a steal and block performance. </p>   <p>Corbin Petcoff is a six-foot-four-inch 2028 freshman.</p>   <p><a href="https://twitter.com/CorbinP1012/status/1888093474085581237">https://twitter.com/CorbinP1012/status/1888093474085581237</a></p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Chisago Lakes 2-20 (63)</h2>   <p>Joe Couwenhoven is a six-foot-four-inch 2026 wing who is scoring 16.9 points per game. Couwenhoven has a nose for the ball, collecting loose balls and stepping in front enough to pick up steals. Couwenhoven can be a secondary ball handler with a good enough handle, and does well playing off the ball spreading the floor. Versus Princeton in February he scored 30 points while making two 3-pointers. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1560843' first='Cohen' last='Underhill'] is a six-foot-three-inch guard that is scoring 12.7 points per game. Thorsen does well spotting up and letting the ball fly, spreading the floor very well. </p>   <p>Jacob Knoespel is a six-foot-four-inch 2026 Center who is scoring 15.6 points per game. Knoespel is a left-handed big man that can stretch out on the perimeter and shoot the ball a bit, he's a hard hustling big man, and moves well.</p>
