Over the next few weeks, we will be adding a lot of names to the 2028 Watch List (WL). If you know of any freshman ballers who you think we need to have eyes on, DM one of our scouts and we will make it a point to take a look at some of their highlights. We will continue on with some Northern Lower Michigan kids who have caught our scouting eye.

[player_tooltip player_id='2758909' first='Collin' last='Rademacher'] - Traverse City Central (V)

Collin getting lots of minutes on JV and Varsity and 5-quarters many nights. Special note: he drained two game-winners in one night last week against Petoskey--one on JV and one on 3OT win on varsity. We'd have to dig deep within the archives to see if and when this has ever happened. A pure shooter and can score from anywhere on the court. Plays pretty solid defense as well. Should see solid minutes on varsity for the remainder of the year and will be a big contributor come district time.

[player_tooltip player_id='2759320' first='Lucas' last='Nemec'] - Petoskey (V)

Contributes solid minutes in the 3 or 4 position. Finds himself in a frontcourt with a solid senior-mentor in Solitis. Petoskey likes high screens for open corner shots...covers a lot of ground and gets this done well. His size will be needed come district time, as everyone else in D1 District 1 carries a tall line-up card. Came off of a very successful campaign with HB Elite last spring and another one of Wills Lee's prodigies.

Will Neveau - Traverse City Central

Will has been playing mostly on the freshman team this year, but he's building a solid resume for JV and likely varsity next year. We will be inserting him on the 2028 WL momentarily. Will has great size and quickness to play 1-4 position. I don't have his ppg average, but looking over the games I've seen and been able to research, he must be hovering around 23-25 PPG. Had an excellent middle school AAU career on Northwoods. Look for Will to contribute solid numbers for the Trojans in the years to come.

Colin O'Donnell - Petoskey

Quick and athletic. Colin has been handling the PG duties on the freshman team this year, as well as starting CG on JV occasionally. Colin is a hard worker throughout the backcourt on both sides of the ball. Petoskey traveled to Sault Ste. Marie last week with only 5 kids on their freshman team, (illness and driver's training were the culprits) and Colin put the game on his shoulders with a go-ahead three and pin-point accuracy on his free throws near the end to solidify a 3-point victory. Colin will be entering our WL very soon as well.

Ryder Labrecque - Indian River Inland Lakes (V)

Ryder was bumped up to Varsity early in the season and hasn't looked back. He mainly tackles the CG duties, but will occasionally find himself on the wing where he is able to accurately hit the deep ball. Inland Lakes is in a bit of a reload this season, but Ryder should shore that up as his career develops.
