Traverse City Central was defeated by Lansing Everett on Tuesday night. Rademacher caught some eyes in the game though. He finished the contest with a team high 23 points. His double-double was even more impressive though. Rademacher added 10 rebounds to his stat line, showing that he can play bigger than his height.

Rademacher has a very impressive spring and summer. He looks ready to take that next step. Rademacher showed that he can be relied upon as a key scorer against tough competition. He’s a confident shooter that can really hit a jumper from anywhere on the floor.

Rademacher was definitely a standout over the weekend. He showed real lead guard traits. He wanted the ball in his hands and he wanted to, and was able, to create for himself and his teammates. Rademacher showed that he was a confident and effective shooter from beyond the arc.

Rademacher has shown off a lot of aspects of his game this spring and summer, but we’ll focus on his jumper. He can fill it up and do it from multiple spots on the floor. Rademacher is a PG that can create and score.

Rademacher has been hard at work this spring. He’s shown a comfortability with being a primary ball handler and being responsible for advancing through pressure. Rademacher has shown that he can be a true lead guard that both initiates the offense and goes and gets buckets. He’s a 2 way guard as well that will accept the challenge of guard the top perimeter threat on the other team.

Collin is ultra-aggressive, finding his way into gaps you didn’t even know were there. Whether going off one or two feet, Rademacher is a balanced finisher, staying composed through traffic. Along with his slashing ability, he’s also a capable three-point shooter, never hesitant to let it fly from beyond the arc.

It’s crazy that TCC has not one, but two, above-average shooters who were able to play on varsity as freshmen. Complementing Mclean nicely, Collin is more of a pure point-guard. It is obvious he is a coaches’ kid, a very high basketball-IQ player. When his team was up late in the 4th quarter, Rademacher did a nice job against the opponents pressing and trapping. At one point, he weaved through 4 defenders before finally finding an open teammate for the game-clinching layup.

In last week’s matchup against Petoskey, Collin played in both the JV and Varsity contests (5 quarter rule) and hit game winners in both games. In the JV contest, Collin scored 15 straight including the game winning 3 to bring his team back from a big deficit. In the varsity game, Collin hit the game winning 3 in triple overtime, his second game winner of the night.
