-Best shooting performance from the perimeter that I've seen from Devonish as he went 5/7 and hit his last four threes to seal a nice win over Clinton Grace. Devonish got it going early by lifting off a pindown screen to known down a C+S elbow jumper through the contact and sealing the 3-point play with a made FT. His speed pushed the tempo for the Cardinals on several occasions with Devonish collecting several hockey assist by throwing ahead to a teammate to allow them to take advantage of 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 fastbreak possessions. His floater in transition and a wing 3 late in the game helped seal the win for an Ireton team that also won this matchup during the summer.

8p 9a 8r 2s vs New Hope
-Probably the best leader that I got a chance to see this weekend as the vocal floor general of a GCS team missing several starters. Loved his intangibles as a guy that directed traffic at both ends of the floor, taking the time to explain things to younger players during dead balls or timeouts to ensure that everyone was on the same page. Williams flourished in transition, switching ends for the Dragons efficiently and throwing some great passes over the top to teammates or executing perfect lobs for alley oop dunks in transition. Williams used a great head fake around the basket to get his matchup in the air to draw the foul and go a perfect 4/4 from the line.

-Jackson was locked in from start to finish in this one, attacking the paint with reckless abandon to score or dish off to teammates for easy buckets around the basket. Jackson showed the touch in a blow-by drive across the paint to finish with some mustard on a finger roll layup high off the glass. Jackson navigated screens well throughout the day to curl around side ball screens come off flat to drag the help defender to him before finding an open teammate. Finished several layups in traffic with the weak hand (left) high off the window and wasn't afraid of contact before or after the shot.

-Re-entered the game midway through the 2Q after dealing with some foul trouble to make an impact at both ends. Braxton came off the bench and drilled two 3s to help NHA cut the lead down to 11 at halftime. Liked his ability to affect the game with his athleticism as he chased down an opponent to pin his shot on the backboard to start the 2Q run and finished at the other end in the second half off a great backdoor cut. Intrigued to see him again as he didn't look out of place athletically against a good Glenelg Country team as a downhill slashing guard that probed the defense.

-Carson set the tone early by picking his matchup up fullcourt and didn't have any letdowns for that energy throughout the rest of the game. Carson timed his opponent's dribbling cadence perfectly to pick him clean at halfcourt and finish with the reverse on the other side of the rim to avoid the chasedown block. Carson doesn't gamble often defensively and uses his quickness to force his matchup sideline. Love his vision on his paint touches and as soon as he receives the outlet in transition, always looking to kick ahead to the open man while finishing with a 7-2 assist to turnover ratio on the night. Had a big extension lay in transition around the defense late in the game. He isn't all the way there yet as a scorer but with the skillbase and intensity, I expect him to be a great 2-way floor general when all is said and done
